Lucid Dreaming While Awake

Today I am thankful because:

1. I feel better. I feel like walking and cooking.

2. I am working on prosperity and I feel encouraged about that.

3. The kids are sleeping in their own beds.

4. I have a ride to Nashville for a fun event today.

5. It's the weekend so my sweet husband gets to rest.

1. This week I feel a little less nauseated. I was able to be very lazy today so I didn't need to have too many calories and I was able to just skip breakfast... a total no-no in my house.

2. The vinegar/Borax all natural cleaner that I obtained from my pal Sunshine's Healthy Home's party neutralized the odor of urine that managed to seep through the cloth diaper an onto the Sleep Number mattress because a week and a half ago the Donut did the toothpaste vomit thing all over the bed and therefor forced us to remove the mattress cover, at which point we discovered it was so old that it ended up falling apart. Yeah.

3. My little baby bump is cute and was actually recognized as pregnancy and not a beer belly by a complete stranger.

4. The Captain is liking his new job and seems to be having fun at it. And he's been calling me throughout the day just to say hi and check in on me and see how I'm feeling. What a sweetie pie.

5. Yesterday, He-Man woke up fine but by the time we were at the bookstore for Christmas in July, he had a fever and felt "just awful". We met daddy at the mall for lunch (Pyramids. Yum) and he laid on the bench in the foodcourt. I got him home as quickly as possible and he immediately took a nap... but only after I gave him a nice hefty dose of Colloidal Silver. After he woke up, he seemed to feel a little better. But then I noticed that his heart was racing. I decided to take him to the doctor. But before we even got to the clinic he'd perked up and started to act totally better. Turns out his fever was gone and he was fine. He's acted totally fine all day today! Yay silver!

1. That my husband is liking his new job and has already enjoyed success.

2. For maternity clothes that were cute and cheap at the thrift store (and the 25 cent Spongebob Book that made a little boy very happy).

3. For offers of free maternity clothes.

4. That I had a great conference call regarding Artsy Mamas this morning and we have some cool stuff up our sleeves.

5. For the new board member who gave our grant application a face lift and gave ME a renewed hope that we might actually get some moolah for this organization after all!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the wonderful night's rest that my son received last night. I thank for the Donut's healing and that she seems to feel much better today than she did yesterday. We thank you for the programing that is beginning today for Artsy Mamas and for the success it will enjoy! We also thank you for the new job that you have given to my wonderful husband. May he feel challenged and be successful... and as a result less stressed and happier in his life. Lord, please watch over us and protect us as we go through this new journey. Please guide me and direct me as the Executive Director of this fabulous organization and help me to know which direction to take. Please send me help, Lord. I cannot do it alone anymore.

I ask all of this in your name.

For What Am I Thankful Today?

1. That the Donut's vomit missed the comforter.
Edit: I was mistaken. It did not miss the comforter. Duvet in the laundry.
2. For the free vacation we will be taking in October. Sure, it's still Disney World but at least it's the best resort on all of the property, it's not going to be super hot while we are there, and all of our expenses will be paid for.
3. The Captain starts a new job that WILL be the answer to our financial concerns.
4. A volunteer to create an awesome Artsy Mamas website that will be the beginning of wonderful things to come!
5. This new baby and my coming to terms with the news.
