I'm not stalking you today, just catching up on some vids while I wait for a call to go play taxi. See, you're too hard on yourself! Even when you're having a 'meh' day (made me laugh again!) you still have some great points to make, you're inspiring, interesting...and I have a really short attention span! Hope your mojo is back, but even if it's not, I still love ya! xxx

Greetings Anthony:
Lazy days ... the best thing you can do for yourself sometimes. During those lazy unmotivated times much is happening. Thoughts, feelings are being sorted out whether or not they come to the fore. I ,too, like to clean or due maintenance projects to let my mind sort even better. I consider the repetitive mindless work a type of meditation. You stay in the present, thoughts come & are observed & ... you continue on. If thoughts are especially stressful you sweep or dust ,paint , whatever for a second more forcefully and then come back to equilibrium. You are putting many pieces of your life together in new ways. You need this time alone (as I did) to put them together in a unique special way for yourself this time not a plan imposed on you by others. Eventually your plan will be modified a bit by others ... but right now just dream your dream. At first don't expect for all to be lining up in new ways rapidly. But it will change slowly but surely and when you least expect it. All the best whether lazing, jogging, working, or snoring you are doing exactly what you are meant to do at this moment. Can you use this moment to make the future feel better in some way. Sometimes the answer comes back -continue to lay here practically inverted on the sofa and puzzle stuff out; sometimes the answer is work on some task as you also make a plan; or due an outward move that is even a baby step or maybe a big gutsy move toward something. Even rearranging furniture can change your thinking and stand as an outward symbol to you each day of a new habit or idea you wish to pursue.

I completely agree with your cleaning comment. I've found it very useful for my "lazy days" as well. Somehow cleaning up a little bit helps to clean my mind too. Enjoy your days, even the lazy ones.

I agree. You know I always agree with you. Unless I don't agree with you. In which case, I don't agree. But, in this case, I strongly agree. With my recent health issues and now learning to manage chronic illness (since closing my eyes and sticking my fingers in my ears and going nananananana I can't hear you didn't work) I had to learn the hard way how to clean and organize and declutter at a different pace. Meaning a reasonable pace for a human being. I now do stuff one section at a time. When I say section, I mean a drawer, a cupboard, a box. I also agree that giving stuff away is good karma. I also agree cleaning is theraputic. Keep in mind, sometimes we get mentally tired. That's when you focus on things that aren't thinking stuff. It's not just physical energy, or time management, it's energy and thinking management. I like the balance I've been finding now a lot better than my old all or nothing ways.
