Thanks so much for your comments. I always appreciate what you have to say and that you take the time to say it. Congrats on completing your 1st season and best of luck on your second. I just saw that you are from OH. My brother lives in Cincinnati and I am from Akron! Really? A strict republican from Ohio?? Noooo! I guess in a way I am just voicing what I want to attract! An Angel would be nice. I really enjoy communicating with you on here and wishing you continued success! Have a great day!

Thanks for your kind words, Terry. I likewise am inspired by your writing and so grateful for it. As for Chamberlain - he was an incredibly evolved & spiritual human being. I know he's best known through his portrayal by Jeff Daniels in the movies "Gettysburg" and "Gods & Generals" (both historically inaccurate, but oh well!). As heroic as he is made to be in those movies, the actual breadth of his character when his entire life is studied is even greater than portrayed, and infinitely more human & multidimensional. Being a Mainer, and only about an hour from Chamberlain's Brunswick home - practically on the Bowdoin campus - I'm fortunate to have so much at my disposal to view firsthand - his letters, papers, his Medal of Honor, photographs - mostly housed either at the Bowdoin Library, Maine Historical (in Portland), or Pejepscot Historical (Brunswick). The letter he wrote to his wife Fanny (and no, she was not a blonde bimbo as in "Gods & Generals", nor was she a "cold fish" as is sometimes claimed - their love letters are hot - lol!) when he thought we was dying after the Petersburg wound is under glass at Bowdoin - still with his bloody fingerprints on it. If you are interested in Chamberlain, and have occasion to come to Maine, let me know! I can show you around the sites.
