Hi cocreators!
Wow, my weeks are really busy now... And I'm glad of it. I'm beginning to feel alive!! I've been locked out of my feelings for so long that now it is just so great to just feel!
Anyway, about my vision board. I "prayed" in a way in my last post for life to bring me a nice vision board. I wanted this board to be symbolical as I don't want to limit anything in my life. I wanted it to inspire me, to be different each time that I looked upon it. I did it using an evaluation version of photoshop elements. The pictures are from internet, and came naturally to me.
So, now let's move on to a superficial mental explanation of the Board. To begin with, the double rainbow in blue sky on a wide green forest is the basis of the Board. Rainbow for the width of experience of feelings that I want to taste in life, rainbow for the impermanence of everything. Blue sky as the clarity that I want to achieve. A clear sky offers the deepest chills in winter nights, as well as the hottest days in summer. It is also there to remind me that thoughts are nothing but clouds drifting in the perfect sky of my spirit. There are part of the sky, but they are not the sky.
The main figures of the board are a symbol of two dancers, to remind me of the fluidity that characterize life. Two for my wish to live in harmony with my partner.
In each corner is a man that I look upon as a mentor and a guide. Upper right is Gary Craig, founder of EFT (
Emotional Freedom Technique). It is simply an amazing tool that allows to dissipate in instants every trauma or distressing emotion!! I think this kind gentle man is one of the deepest healers and mentors that this planet can offer.
In the bottom right corner, Steve Pavlina from
www.stevepavlina.com. His blog is a continuous inspiration to me, as he made his life an incessant experiment with life optimization. He is quite mental (I mean, that he interacts on a mental mode with reality ;-) ) which provides an interesting new point of view on life.
On the bottom left is Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido. The basis of this Japanese martial art is to redirect the energy of the opponent to neutralize his negativity without harming him. I did it for some years.
On the top left corner is the yin-yang symbol. To reminds me that there is no negative nor positive, only energy. The coldest killer also can love truly, and the most loving healer can also be sometimes as intolerant as Hitler (metaphorically, of course).
Thanks in 11 languages surround these symbols. To remind me that I am above all thankful for everything that I experience!!
Speaking of which, the 23 symbols that are overlayed on the rainbow are taken from the
Genius Guide of Silvia Hartmann. Each one of them represents a whole world of possibilities in itself. For example, the spiral is the symbol of magic and everything linked, the fountain is a reminder for creativity and so on...
I've also put a French phrase from Saint François d'Assise, or from the Alcoholic Anonymous according to different sources. It can be translated as: "God, gives me the courage to change what I can change, the force to accept what I cannot change, and the wisdom to make the difference".
On top, another phrase : The world is your reflection. To remind me that disturbances that I see in the world are only reflections of the blockages that have to be mended in the Energyscape. Another phrase from M. Gandhi : Be the change that you want in the world. To remind us that we are 100 % responsible from our lifes!!
And the whole vision board is framed to show that it is finally only a mental construction of the life I want to lead, and not my actual life! This vision board is only a tool that will need to be discarded when the time will come!
Anyway, thats a long post, and I hope it will make some sense to read. I came back home late tonight and am not fully awoke yet!
Cheers,
Alexandre
