When you complete your first 10-day or longer Master Cleanse, you become a member of the Lemonade Brigade and can download a free certificate (https://therawfoodsite.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=38&products_id=83)!
We are very proud of our Lemonade Brigade trademark and work hard to ensure you get the original, time-tested recipe and ingredients for Stanley Burroughs' Master Cleanse.
The Master Cleanse is a modified juice fast and gains its power from fasting. Adding anything else, especially protein powder, shakes, gelatin capsules (made from hoofs, tendons, etc.), or vitamin pills, requires the body to use its energy to digest rather than clean house and rebuild.
Other companies add shakes, protein, vitamins, etc. to increase their sales in spite of the fact that Burroughs specifically says not to take any additional supplements. (This does not mean stop taking your prescription medicines unless you discuss this with your licensed health care practitioner.)
One website sells a diabetic kit with agave nectar instead of maple syrup. That isn't Burroughs' handling for diabetics. In his book, Healing for the Age of Enlightenment, he says to use one tablespoon of blackstrap molasses instead of maple syrup in the beginning and increase it to two tablespoons and then switch to a single tablespoon of maple syrup and gradually increase it to two tablespoons of maple syrup as you monitor your blood sugar closely.
Another website sell "secrets" that include the wrong recipe for the lemonade and some mysterious food you can cheat with while on the Master Cleanse. There isn't any such food unless it's peppermint tea.
