Time flies when you are having fun and I had some fun!
Very active at the moment to prepare for my walk to Santiago.
Try to walk at least 1 hour per day, preferrably 2 hours per day - but I realize that five weeks from tomorrow I will have to walk at least 4 hours per day, including mountains to 1500 meters...so... yes, I still need to push it a little more to achieve my goal.
But.... do I ask, what is my goal? To reach Santiago? Well, I could always take a bus... To walk 350 km.? Maybe, if my feet will support me... so what am I afraid of? It's the experience - being 1 month on my own - trying to get closer to myself - through walking the camino. It's the intention that counts and not necessarily the result. So - yes, my aim is to walk the 350 km. but if I - for whatever reason - do not succeed to do this with my own feet, I don't have to be disappointed about that. My intentions are good and I am sure that the experience is unique!! :)
