Season 2 Day 34
Affirmation: I love everything about myself.
You know, thinking it in my head is one thing, but just typing it out is more powerful, to me at least. I'm still just staring at it, trying to take in all the emotions I feel looking at those words. So today I made a list, 'Why I Love Myself'. The process of pen to paper, seeing the words I write, can be more powerful than I thought. I may post some of what I wrote in a blog entry soon, but for example, one of my reasons was "I'm gorgeous." Writing it down made me realize, 'maybe I don't tell myself that as often as I should.'
The reason for all this is because I keep reading about how before you can attract a love into your life, you have to love yourself. I used to nod my head, saying "Yup, I love myself." But do I really, or do I just like myself? So I'm really examining what it means to love yourself. So far, I'm realizing that I love loving myself.
