I Am At Peace

I woke up this at peace. At peace with myself. At peace with my life. At peace with my relationships. It was a nice, sunshiny, feeling and I am happy to say that I feel truly at Peace.

There was a time where I wasn't. I wanted to fit in. I wanted to do everything in hopes that people would like me. I didn't beat to my own drum, but followed others. And then just as I started to follow my own beat, I found others were stepping on my coattails, fearful that I would take another path. Well, today I must say that I love the path that I am on. I love the people who support me in lieu of ride along with me and I am at peace. Life is really good.

I am done with my appointments for the morning and will be heading off to Michigan State University. I have some work to do there and I am very happy for all of the opportunities that are being set in front of me. The seeds in which I planted way back when are taking root and I am seeing the sprouts of my success and it feels fantastical!
