Day One - a good sign!

I had the best message from God today! I was reading "Conversations with God" on the bus today and was particularly moved by a statement in Chapter 2, "I tell you this: I am performing a miracle right now. For not only am I speaking to you, but to every person who has picked up this book and is reading these words." After I finished the chapter, I put my book away in my bag and looked up. The first thing that my eye rested on was a bus schedule book and on its back cover was an ad that said "Who's Better than You? Nooobody!" What a fantastic and welcome message! I definitely needed to hear that!

It's like God says in Chapter 1, "I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout...The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear - all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you that I have always been there. All ways."

Seeing that ad was definitely a good sign for me - I usually have issues with comparing myself to others and thinking that I fall short. So, seeing a message that nobody's better than me (and, by inference, we are all equal) was really helpful and it confirmed that indeed, today should be my Day One.

I will probably explore this site more on my lunch break - but I must get to work!

What a wonderful day to start a season with. The quotes you posted reminded me of something that is so easy to forget when we don't practice it enough. In order to manifest the dreams that we want the most important part of the process is that we must be aware of our surroundings. We have to be open to every possibility and allow for our joy to come from everyone and thing. Even ourselves.
