Like many others around the world I watched the inaugural ceremony today. I was very motivated, seeing all those people together hoping for change and a better way in life. One thing stood out from Obama's speech was "...Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met..." It made me reflect on how I expect good things to change quickly and how impatient I am. It made me realize that I have to buckle and enjoy the ride, that way the outcome will be that much greater. Also he said we must change the way we think about things. I have to honest I watched the inauration just because there was nothing better on televison, I didn't really care, I thought he was all hype ( I dont really care for american politics). I see now that he is this amazing motivational speaker and I believe that he can do amazing things. If you pay attention to his speeches, and instead of United States change the words so he's talking to you about yourself, you can see I good he is. He has given me the push to change for the better, think positive and act instead of react. Instead of worrying about material things and how people think about me, I am going to fill myself up with happiness and I am going to become a better person. Today is the very first day to a happier and better me. I am not hoping for a better tomorrow, I now know there will be a better tomorrow...

A new day has come.
