Day 3 is going extremely well. I went to the gym for the third time this week and I brought Kelsi and Keaton (my future step-kids) with me. They got to shoot hoops and run around while I ran and lifted weights. Then we played some 3 on 3 before going grocery shopping. They are such great kids. I hope that opportunities for influencing and encouraging them keep coming my way! On our way home from the grocery store, Kelsi wanted to know if she could go to college to learn how to be a professional wrestler. lol. I explained to both of them that if they are really good at sports and can focus on keeping their grades up at the same time, then when they're ready for college they might be able to get scholarships. They both thought that was awesome and said that's what they want to do. I hope they stick with it!
Today I am grateful for Kelsi and Keaton for reminding me to stay curious about life. They have such an innocent perspective on life which means they are constantly present in every moment. WOW! Now I understand what Jesus meant when he said to have a childlike mind when you come to him!
Hope you all had a great first few days!!!!!
