Day 21 Season 4 : My second Toastmasters speech
An excellent day.
I did my second Toastmasters speech. This one was around developing transitions between key ideas or issues in the speech, creating a strong opening and conclusion. I did really well. I focused mine around Getting things Done - or as I called it - Hyperproductivity!
On the way back I bought some more eggs and bread so that I can make my own poached eggs on toast in the morning for breakfast. Doing it myself is saving me an absolute fortune on what I used to spend in the cafe.
Had a lunch in the cafe with a girl that I mentor. She asked my views on some issues she was wondering how to tackle. I was pleased that I was able to help with those.
Had an excellent meeting this morning. I usually get a turbulent response to the key items I speak to on the agenda. What was good this time was that everyone was happy. That happened because I approached it in a really positive way and created a good vibe.
