So, this is mys econd day on southbeach. One of my intentions each season is to get to a certain weight. I've decided to use southbeach because my doctor said it was the best, next to weight watchers. I only have 15 pounds to go so I'm determined. I'm using the affirmation "I now allow my body to go to it's lowest healthy weight."
For the nitty gritty; Now I'm sitting at my desk, eating breakfast of plain yogurt. I have put splenda and vanilla in it ...so it's nice. Yesterday I ate: breakfast, nuts and yogurt, lunch (i forgot my lunch) more yogurt with nuts and some celery. Snack, instant sugar free pudding. Went to the gym, ran a mile, lifted a little and then did a spinning class. Dinner was baked salmon, squash, broccoli with mushrooms. It was awesome. I did have about 8 little whole grain, gluten free crackers and some vodka.
I'm at lunch now, (at my desk) and I had some left over squash with the broccoli and mushrooms along with 2 veggie burgers, no bread. Not bad. Tonight I plan on cooking up a mexican thing-y. I will do soy 'meat' and black beans, melted cheese with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and other veggies that I can eat. Probably for snack I'll have nuts.
Okay then, I'll write more tomorrow....One day at a time, I will make the effort and I believe that my intentions will be manifested...bye for now.
