The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Update:

I know I can be very unorganized sometimes, but after I was able to clean my desk I saw what keeps me clutter. Once I was able to identify what was keeping me unorganized I was able to come up with a organizational system.

Mail/Magazines/Junk Mail:
Throw away after three days if I haven't made a decision yet. I know if I have junk mail or mail period. Unless its important mail; I toss it every three days. 9 out of 10 the idea I had with the mail/magazine probably wouldn't have gotten finished.

Books, Notes, Paper:
If I am writing notes and I haven't touched that specific topic in two days I put it away. I make a note to finish it, but it will no longer stay on my desk. I organize my notes/paper in my binders/notebooks so if I need it when I am ready to return to the topic all my information is in one area.

I am now able to use my new planner. At first I wasn't feeling it, but now it is helping me stay organized with appointments, things to do, meal time, meds. Instead of having tons of notes for my planner. I can keep all my family things in one place and I can carry it. :D

Household Chores:
I wrote out what needed to be done on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis around the house. Then I took what is the easiest to the hardest chore {I also consider how long it will take me to get things done.} I put those things into what I need to get done with the kids and I now get up and have a regular routine.

It has worked for me since I started the challenge. I was overwhelmed at first with all the things that had to be done. Now I make sure I take at least twenty minutes before I do my night routine and make sure everything is in order so I won't be rushed with tons of other things to do when I wake up. Even though I don't want the girls to get big, its kind of great that they are developing their own independence because I don't have to monitor when they brush their teeth. I also gave the girls easy chores to do around the house. They have to clean up the toys, put their dirty clothes in the basket, put their dishes in the sink, brush their teeth, and make their beds. For a 2 and 3 yr old I think that's enough. When we do go do laundry Akina loves to fold clothes and Andrea just wants to put clothes in the drawer. :D Don't get me wrong; I don't do all this by myself.. I do have Leon helping me out, but sometimes I can get things done faster with just one person doing it. :D I made Saturday the main day to do strong heavy chemical cleaning. lol. You know the day it smells like bleach and flowers at the same times. :D We come together as a family and clean. I make a good big breakfast! Usually on the weekdays they prefer cereal, but I make sure I make a warm breakfast once a week. :D

This Season I am working on my Sacral Chakra.

Color: Orange
Location: Lower abdomen to navel area; corresponds to sacrum area of the spine.
Developmental Years: 8-14
Physical Organs: Kidney, reproductive system, and spleen

Positive : Pleasure, joy, abundance, a sense of well-being
Negative:Exhaustion, sadness, greed, depression
Meditation: "I feel"

Working on:
Control: To want control is to be controlled
Sense of Well-Being: A sense of well-being is the only state of being

I want to work on my control issues and my sense of well-being. I have pleasure and I have joy in my life. I still am dealing with trying to control every details of my life and I usually have so much going on that I forget to care for myself.

Affirmations:
I feel good when I don't control others.
I feel good when I remain flexible.
I feel a sense of well-being when I take good care of myself.
I feel a sense of well-being when I exercise and eat healthy foods.
I feel a sense of well-being when I look good and feel good.

In my last blog I posted up how I will be applying the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success to my life. I notice that I have been following some of the laws unconsciously and consciously before reading this. How? I have learned from my experiences and know how to apply them to my life. Did I know what to call them no, but I consciously now know what they are and how to use them properly. :D There are 21 commitments and I will be following one a day. It takes a month to form a habit and this helps me to form these Laws into my beliefs.

I still have some fear about the move, but I am slowly growing on the idea of meeting new people and seeing new things which gets me excited about moving. Now that I am more organized, understand my fear, control issues, and how I lost my sense of well-being. I can now work towards being the person I desire. :D
