Today I finish my first season. So many things happened in these last 100 days, it has been really life changing.

I found this website on September 30th and started my first season the next day, October 1st. Not much time for preparation or contemplation, I jumped right in!
The Intentions & Goals I set out to accomplish were:
1. Being financially able to book a summer-vacation to Greece.
2. Being financially able to cope with less alimony.
3. Being at a perfect bodyweight of 68 kilo’s.
As for the Greek vacation, I did have the money for it but spend it on a lawyer’s bill in November that was much higher than I had expected. I figured that paying the lawyer’s bill was more important at that time and I still have plenty of time for manifesting the vacation money, 2009 has only just started. So did I succeed? I leave that to my readers to decide.
In 2009 I will be receiving 7500 euro less alimony. Much to my own surprise I was able to create a budget that includes all the necessary spending despite 7500 euro less income. I was really upstream about this issue but ever since I wrote my blog called “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change (chapter two)” on October 13th, I haven’t been worried about money any longer. I have Abraham’s teachings and Louise Hay to thank for that. Lack of money was the main stress factor in my life before I started this challenge, I can’t say that I have manifested a higher income but - one way or another - money is no longer an issue.
As far as the subject of bodyweight is concerned, I have to say that I have taken a whole new approach on that subject. My co-creating friends M, Nikola and Mari told me not to fuzz over my weight anymore and Mari had this great idea of not using the scale for an entire season!
Inspired by my friends and by Abraham’s view on bodyweight I wrote this in my diary on January 1st:
FOOD IS MY FRIEND!
Starting today I stop paddling upstream on weight loss and I’ll let go of the oars. I let go of all the diet-info I accumulated over the years. I let go of stepping on my scale twice a day. I’m going to be friends with every single item of food that finds its way on my plate. I’m only eating while being downstream, and I’m going to be downstream about everything I will eat!
During my first season I have come to understand the importance of the concept of appreciation and I succeeded in integrating it in my daily life. This has brought about the biggest change of all. Please hear this: appreciation is the key to changing your life around for the better!!!
So many things happened to me during these past 100 days that I am very, very appreciative of:
- The teachings of Abraham have really resonated with me and I am in lack of words to describe how great the impact of that has been on my life.
- I have had the loving support of my boyfriend and my children on my journey
- I have developed new skills like blogging, journaling, making a vision-board and making mind-movies.
- I did the Master Cleanse together with my son.
- I have met so many wonderful people on this CCOR site and I was able to meet some of you in person. So far I have had the pleasure of meeting M, Nikola and Mari and I have such heart-warming, precious memories of these meetings. On February 21 I’ll be hosting a bigger meeting of Dutch co-creators and I’m very much looking forward to that event.
I’d like to thank everybody that has been my friend and teacher in this past season as well as everybody that allowed me to be theirs. Sometimes only a few words in a small comment can have a huge impact, so please keep in touch by blogging, vlogging and commenting.
I’m looking forwards to starting my season 2 on January 15th.
