The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I just came back from a lovely walk with my dog. I love our walks; they really clear my head, align me with the Source Energy and help me focus.

Minutes before, hubby said something that I was hoping not to hear and he kinda snapped at me when I asked for clarification. I didn't get upset but I knew I had to maintain my positive vibration so I quickly headed out the door for a walk. During the walk I was continually repeating to myself how grateful I am for all sorts of things. I was immersing myself in the loveliness & quiet of the day. I was really feeling my gratitude and being completely honest in that moment. A couple of times I brought myself to tears from the deep gratitude I felt.

As my happy, goofy dog and I walked along, we came across some chalk on the sidewalk; evidently some kids were playing and dropped it or forgot it. I was inspired to pick it up. We rounded the corner and walked up to our driveway. I began to write on our concrete:

I AM GRATEFUL FOR DADDY. (That's what I call my husband)
I AM GRATEFUL I AM A MANAGER AT THE H.O.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING WE'VE GAINED IN MONTEREY.
I AM GRATEFUL I AM GOING WITH THE FLOW.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR SOLDIER.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR MINMIN (Soldier & MinMin are our dogs; "babies")

I wrote until the chalk was almost gone. I have a tiny piece left. I plan on writing more on the sidewalk around the front of the house.

I feel this weight off of me yet I feel this sensation in my chest. I'm not sure what it is. It's not a bad sensation. It feels swirly, excited and bouncy almost. I'm sorry I'm not making any sense. *lol* I feel good.

It's not the events in your life, it's how you react to those events that determine your character.

Thank you! Blessed be!

Delicia, Thank you for sharing your story. I needed to be reminded that sometimes the best reaction is not reacting at all - to go for a healing walk instead. It's so wonderful of you to remind me of this valuable lesson.

It really is how we react to the events in our life. We do have choices.

Love and light,

Nikki
