Hi All,
I know I have not been posting very much for quite some time but I admit I have been very busy. However, everything is going good in my life. I also discovered the power of tithing. I know that some people are against it but I have noticed so far that when I give away money to my church or to charity associations, the following days, money comes to me from unexpected sources. It always blows my mind away.
The reason why I am writing this blog today is in regard to a California widow who will be evicted from her apartment tomorrow, Monday 12th. Her story was featured on CBS and you can see it at this address:
She is native French but has been living in California for the past 31 years. She has no living relatives and thus nowhere to go. I found out about her story this past friday and have been contacting my friends back in the US to find ways to help her out. I also contacted some associations but have not heard back from them yet. I also contacted some belgian and french associations. I am truly hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction so I will be able to keep her from been homeless.
Helen lost her job when her company went belly up. She was a former executive asisstant. She’s more than qualified. She is super sweet, and has a big heart. She has been actively looking for a job, sending out hundreds of resumes. I am in contact with her by email and she now has a PO box where we can reach her.
Just so you understand, she did not ask me for anything but I offered to help her out. I have been a cop volunteer enough years to know that this woman will NEVER survive on her own in the streets.
Her situation is making me sick to my stomach and I will not sleep until she has a roof over her head and a job.
So if anyone has job leads in the Tarzana, CA area or if you know any associations who could help her out, please contact me or contact her at: Helen Hatat, PO Box 570108 ; Tarzana, CA 91357-0108 . Her email address is : HelpHelen@roadrunner.com
Helen is very scared and feels at the end of her rope. I am trying hard to help her out but there is so much I can do. Tomorrow I will send her a check but that won't be enough for her to keep her apartment. I am hoping the universe / God will hear my plea and help me find a solution.
I know many people are in her situation but I came across her story by chance and felt compelled to try and do something about it.
If you have any suggestions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks a lot and God bless!
Nathalie
