Today is the first day of my first 100 Day Challenge! I changed my profile picture since I got my hair cut last week which always makes me feel like a new person! or rather the same person evolving? It's been an interesting day without a doubt. Twice I found myself standing up for myself with clients, who are either unrealistic or rude. Standing up for myself with my landlord who is nice enough, but will let things slide unless I get a bit tense with him (how boring is that!). And, found out that after a few weeks of feeling really rather unwell and not myself (totally unrelated to my back issue), that I have a kidney infection! My doctor, who LISTENS to me, knew something wasn't right when I walked in, and knew it had nothing to do with my back. I am grateful for him and his Scottish brogue, and his sense of humour. I felt better just listening to one of his lovely stories about when he was interning in Scotland. (I have a weakness for the Scottish people/culture). However, it's been a bit of a long day, just dealing with people who are just above themselves, and feeling still ill, though I hope the antibiotics will resolve that for me in a couple of days and I will be back to my "normal" crazy self. Over the past couple of days, I have decided that I am going to move down island, as I don't feel this town suits me. A change is as good as a rest they say, so in the New Year, I shall be working on that goal.

A special thank you to A Yar for his thoughtfulness over the weekend to me. I so appreciated it, and his friendly hello came at a great time for me :)

Well I think it's bedtime for this bonzo as I can feel my fever making me feel rather yucky .... Onto Day 2 tomorrow !

Thank you Rich. Very kind. After today however, I really just feel frustrated and disillusioned. I feel as if I've opened the flood gates to h__l.
