Well, I am still jamming on homework but am getting it done by the skin of my chinny chin chin. I will be gone from Tuesday til October 30 late night, so I may not be able to blog from the road. I will be keeping intentions in mind for me and for all of you who are in this community.
Yesterday I did mostly homework, then took a break and got in a nice long walk in nature at sunset. So I got a hit of that which calms me and got in some exercise at the same time.
My only focus today was to get my homework done. I also took another step in doing an open house for the school. (STUDENT/SPIRIT)
Spent some quality time with my husband -- we went to breakfast at a nice place and talked about some family matters which went really well (communication has been really difficult area in our new marriage), so GOLD STARS there.. (WIFE)
We also took a bit of a drive around in the nice weather and looked at a property we were considering if we were to buy in this area. Nixed it, but at this point, determining no's is as helpful as yes's.
To return a call while I took a break from homework and packed up my sundries -- yes it was multitasking but I could talk doing something that mindless, as if she was in the room with me (FRIEND)
I also booked a ticket to see my old Rev (from Agape in LA) who is doing a guest stint here in Houston on Nov 1 so I guess I did something extra. (SPIRIT)
Did better with the nervous munching I have been doing under the pressure to get these papers done. This time instead of carby stuff, I cut up tomato, avocado, orange pepper and honeychrisp apple and put some lo-fat Newmans balsamic vinegarette dressing on it. Delish, and crunchy and with "good" fat and lots of flavor -- satisfying in all areas. Making nice dinner now. (BODY)
Not bad, it really helps to write it out.
Much to do still, but wanted to check in. Keep me in your affirmative prayers, lol, as I will be gone for 9 days and it will be interesting to try to keep up any kind of schedule or dicipline. I know the key is to be able to fulfill your intentions under any life circumstance, but it's a little challenging when you are still trying to establish those new things.
