My 100 day challenge ended last week. I did not make a video about it yet but wanted to give you guys a wrap up of how it went!
My intentions & what happened
Give daily Gratitude
I found myself much more grateful for what I do have this season. I stopped focusing on what I don't have and that freed up so much more space to be in a state of grace. Everyday gratitude is alot easier to do when you are focused on all the blessing you DO have!
Eat 100% raw
I ate 90% raw. Most days I ate 100% raw. My focused shifted during the season. I realized my goal is not to eat 100% raw everyday. My goal is to be healthy. Eating 100% raw makes me feel best. However I refuse to beat myself up about a steamed sweet potatoe & broccoli!!
Increase fitness
One again I began doing yoga & walking. A little bit. 3 times a week seems to be what I am able to do right now and stick to it. Yoga is the most amazing exercises I know!
Lose 30 pounds or more
I lost 18 pounds this season! Not bad. It was not my exact goal. I am more interested in long term health these days vs instant gratification. That was a healthy shift that took place during the 100 day challenge. It might take me longer to be a skinny minni but when I get there I will be super healthy & balanced!
Become closer to my husband
My husband & I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I did not think we could be any closer. Crossing the one year milestone definitely brought us close together. Entering this stage in life where I am focus on being in a committed marriage vs looking for "the one" is very comforting and peaceful.
Grow spiritually
I read an amazing book this season. It helped me stop being so judgmental and look at everyone with deeper compassion. We are all here for the same thing. Love & acknowledgment.
Help my husband get a job in LA as a teacher
My husband did get put on a list to be hired by LA UNIFIED for teaching. However there is a hiring freeze right now due to the budget crisis in California. We are exploring other avenues right now.
Organize my home to decrease stress
I am learning to live with less and enjoy simplicity. That makes for a peaceful home.
Organize my home so I can move to LA w/o stress
This one definitely did not get addressed in the last 100 days. I am a procrastinator when it comes to moving!
Organize my finances so that they are not as stress factor but a source of security
My finances are stable even in this economy! I am very grateful for that!
Help my daughter get into the college of her choice
My daughter got into her university!!!!
Make vlogs consistently at least once a week to document each step of this challenge
Well I was doing GREAT with this until 2 weeks before the end of the challenge! Much better than last year =D
Becoming 100% responsible for my life my entire life
This concept really fits in with my world view. Remembering this everyday helps you stop being a victim and start being a force to be reckoned with!
