In the past, when I've had a negative thought, I tried to ignore it until I had a positive thought. But today I tried something different. I wrote down some negative thoughts I had today and challenged myself to turn them positive. So what did I learn? Well, I was in a difficult, stressful situation today and I handled it very maturely, and took away some stress. I also care too much about the approval of others. I had two thoughts that I could relate to this today. Now, when I have one of these negative thoughts tomorrow, I'm going to catch myself. I won't let the negative thought continue and I'll deal with reversing it on the spot. I know this might take some time, but I think it's worthwhile
