No - I'm not eating cold pizza for breakfast...
This is about yesterday - and how my little personal sized veggie pizza got cold before I could eat it, at the cafe'.
I was busy talking to people (after our writers group meeting) - and even though my stomach growled and my mouth watered I had to wait.
Later, back at home, as I ate the last of the cold pizza I'd brought home in a box, I reflected on my hectic afternoon.
And I realized how lucky I was to have so many authors I needed to discuss pas…

My dreams often give me great insight into my state of mind. When I'm under pressure I have very intense dreams - they play out my problems like scenes in a movie. Last night's dreams were like an action movie, with explosions and drama.
As the day winds down I'm wondering what messages tonight's dreams will hold!
Stay tuned...

I can't remember when I decided I didn't have to be perfect. It must not have been one of those "AHA" moments - I think it was a gradual shift in perception.
That doesn't mean I'm a sloppy person. It just takes off some of the pressure to have everything I do be "perfect."
Now - how do I convince others that they don't have to be "perfect" in order to be happy and successful???

This is another one of my "better late than never" blogs...
And as I keep working on my intentions and goals I've seen the same message appear in my life over and over (through synchronicity) that we each have the choice to be happy or miserable. We make that choice throughout every day of our lives.
That doesn't mean bad stuff doesn't happen any more if we choose to be happy. It just means we look at the situation for what it is, and don't hold onto the pain and anger.
Something as simple as a…

I admit it - I don't brush my long-haired cat every single day... But in the Springtime I should - it's "shedding season" and Chester's cat hair is everywhere!
I have one of those nubby brushes that gives the cat a massage as you brush (he loves it) and today I got so much hair…

A project I've had "almost" finished for a month finally came together - and I posted my "Light and Mind REG Intro" video on youtube, so I could put a link on my REG Ning group page. Our local Noetics group invested in a Random Event Generator machine and I want people from all over the world to join in the intention experiments! Here's a link to the intro video:
Light and Mind REG Intro - you can contact me if you want the URL to the REG…

This is another of my "day late" blogs - but I'll blog again tonight.
Yesterday was a very full day - I visited the "Green Expo" here in Houston and was delighted to see some new innovations in solar power.
I loved one of the signs that said "the sun never sends you a utility bill" - I can't wait until the systems are affordable or more government rebates are offered. I think the initial set-up cost is one of the main roadblocks for most people.
I also used one of my new "green" reusable shoppin…

Ever feel like life is all work and no play?
That tends to happen to me after I've spent too many days in a row doing things I "have" to do without taking a break.
I know the work I'm doing is important, and I made the choice myself.
I'll have to see if I can spare a couple hours off tomorrow!

Change happens, and the publishing world seems to be full of news regarding radical changes ahead.
The other day I mentioned what Amazon is up to and encouraged people to take a look - I'll post a link again:
http://www.writersweekly.com/amazon.php
If you are not a writer or small press owner then you probably aren't interested - except - if you enjoy reading and buy books. Do you ever wonder where the books come from? More and more are created as the books are ordered, and that is a "good" thin…

The necessary paperwork of life has me busy these days - but I can see the finish line ahead.
And I'm still working on my most important manifestation. I'll stay optimistic no matter what...
My blogs are brief these days but at least I'm here for a few minutes tonight!

I've been dealing with the implications of a strange business move by Amazon, the biggest book retailer on line.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a loyal Amazon shopper - I've purchased hundreds of books, and also other products from their site - I'm even enrolled in their "Prime" shipping program. All our books are for sale on their site - at least for now...
This is my personal blog and I need to vent about this - I hope nobody takes this the wrong way since I'm not trying to hurt them, but they are su…

Since I swore I'd blog every day (a few times a day late) I'm popping in to blog...
Long enough to say I'm so busy that I don't have time to "realy" write a blog!
Maybe tomorrow -

I experienced quite a surreal moment today. I found myself close to one of the locations described in a book we're about to publish. Some of the people in the area could have stepped out of the pages!
A few nights ago something similar happened - a fellow that reminded me SO much of a "bad guy" character in the book approached me.
The two incidents together make it even more vivid that "life imitates art"...

I'm still popping in here to blog, but I've been a bit out of touch with my groups and messages.
No loss in momentum for my goals - that's part of what's keeping me away!
Hopefully in another week I'll have more free time to join in the discussions...

Not as in spinning yarn...
Not as in spinning a story...
Instead I was spending time thinking of "political spin" - and observing its effect on people.
These are interesting times, and I'm often just the observer, as I was today.
I know I am being vague - deliberately so - no need to go into details. It's the overall concept of being the observer and having no effect, yet "wanting" to make a difference.
I'll find a way...

My intuition is usually "right on" - but today what I expected to happen didn't....
It seemed like today got "skewed" by the cosmos and many things went awry.
But in the end I got a reminder to hold on to my dreams, and they'll come true before long!
Until tomorrow -

It's time to blog again, and I'd describe my day as upbeat and productive!
I'm getting closer to completing a big and important project - I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
While working on this project new ideas keep presenting themselves to me - and I know it's synchronicity in action.
Tomorrow I'll be tackling something I've been putting off for awhile. Yes, I admit it - I'm human and I procrastinate!
Until the next blog...

Today I got together with one of our most successful authors, and I feel like a proud parent - she's already working on book three in her mystery series!
Another of our authors loves the new cover I created for her book. It's one of the most complex covers I've designed - I used some of the key elements from her story, and had to make them all "work" together.
Meanwhile I'm also focusing on manifesting my future - today I felt very optimistic!

I can end this day of my 100 day challenge knowing I completed another very important project.
This one took a lot more energy than I expected, and I'm exhausted, but happy!
It's funny to think tasks performed at a computer can be physically draining, like running a marathon. It's a "mind marathon" and my creative adrenaline really pumps when I'm excited about a project.
I've got plenty more to do tomorrow, as always.
Until then...

Here I am posting "last night's" blog the next morning again...
Actually I needed to wait, because of being shaken up a bit - I was reared-ended at a stop light. I wasn't hurt, only the rear door of the car. But there was some question as to the other driver's insurance and I spent last night wondering if I was going to be taken care of.
This morning things are looking much brighter - I managed to get the information I needed and I'll be getting a repair estimate today (for her insurance company…
