A study in colour that I took with my Nokia in a laneway in Melbourne. I LOVE this pic!

Hey Beautiful People!
I've been out there in the big bad world getting beaten up by some people whon call themselves "life coaches" and "transformation specialists" and they have been speaking to me in a way that I find quit…

This is the beautiful Carlton Gardens - just two blocks from where I now live. It's GREAT to be back in the city!
I am now on a new path and enjoying every minute, well maybe not the lack of cash I am currently experiencing, but all the rest is great! At the ripe old age of 35, I dec…

Hi All! It's been an eternity since I last posted, and life is pretty good. Both my psycho housemates are long gone, and I have a new job which I am enjoying. You probably all heard about the recent bushfires in Victoria. Well, the above photo was taken from my front veranda the day…

The view from the top of Mount Franklin
Well, it's been a BIG few days, what with my housemate troubles, which got worse since last blog. She began throwing jars and plates at me and I had to call the police who came and took her away. She came back three days later while I wa…

This is Max snoozing on the front verandah. I'll miss him when he goes, he's a real cutie! I just had to add this PS to my last blog. Last week, I was noticing a distinct lack of culture in the local paper and I got this crazy idea! So I waltzed right into the editor's office, and pu…

5:40PM. The sky was so incredible today!!
Well, I have about 6 million reasons to be happy and give thanks today. Ok, slight exaggeration. Perhaps I'll just list six:
1. I found my
perfect housemate who is moving in tomorrow. She comes complete with pusscat and golden…

Lake Daylesford - early evening. The pinkish tinge in the sky is actually bush fire smoke...
Today I finalised and posted off a job application. For quite a while now, I have imagined myself as a speaker in the style of Esther & Jerry Hicks, Louise Hay or Dr Wayne Dyer. I…

I found these unusual blue flowers today in the garden of my ultimate dream home. I'll be keeping a very close eye on this place! It is called 'Lakeleigh' and it is directly on the other side of the lake from the cottage I will be moving to in 3 sleeps time! As Emha observed yesterda…

A simple but profound day today. An appointment leading to a decision. A decision to withold the first decision from her until tomorrow. I feel safe. Both decisions are good :-) I eat. I wait. I help a new friend. I drive her to the lake. We walk. I take her picture. She takes ours.…

This incredible view greeted me as I was driving away from the spring where I collected the week's water this morning. It made me think of Kentucky or Kansas or somewhere like that...Americans? Canadians? What state or province does this pic remind you of most? I plan to visit all of…

This is the magpie mum I have been feeding recently. She comes right into the kitchen and eats sultanas from my hand. I felt pretty brave the first time I did this as she has such a cruel-looking beak, but she is very gentle with me. I pick the sultanas out of the guest muesli for he…

I spent this morning in bed with my book, due to it being my day off and also it was cold and cloudy. Tucked up under the blankets with the heater on and the magic of Abraham-Hicks sitting in my lap I was feeling perfectly content. My intuition, though, had been giving me misgivings…

I had a wee bit of abundance promised to me the other day, which was delivered today. Two months ago, I attended the three-day "Unleash the Power Within" seminar by Tony Robbins and two days ago, I received a call from one of Tony's coaches in the States offering me a free coaching s…

Last night I dreamed I was in Maine at a garage sale which was inside a big ole green house. I looked up to see Stephen King (my favourite childhood author) smiling at me, as I leafed through an illustrated version of one of his Dark Tower books. He was how I knew I was in Maine. It turns out the house belonged to Owen who is Stephen's real life uncle, but in the dream Owen was his best mate. I love how dreams do odd things like that! Anyway, this is very exciting because it shows that me being…

I would like to start tonight's blog by paying homage to our weird and wonderful Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd as my day began by accidentally finding my way to a you tube video of Kevin caught eating his own ear wax in Parliament Question Time. You gotta love the guy! We love him because he said sorry to the Aborigines, we love him because he signed the Kyoto agreement, we love him because he brought Aussie troops back from Iraq, but mostly we love him because he looks like ice cream!…

My first day off in two weeks! It was a lake day. It
had to be a lake day. Firstly, it was tea (lemongrass and ginger) at the groovy retro cafe with Emily who agreed to share the cottage with me for a few months at least. Yes! One manifestation complete! and another....a car b…
