I appreciate all the support from people after my last post! I think that work is such a big issue for so many of us, we are now being presented with wonderful new opportunities to scrap the old ideas we have from the previous centuries, and create ways to earn a living that are joyful, healthy and meaningful.
I remember hearing that, if you think you have lost sight of your heart's calling, cast your mind back to your dreams as a child. I think this may have come from the Celestine Prophecy - t…

I took my partner to the Toastmasters dinner last night. She enjoyed it. I really enjoyed all the guys meeting her too - particularly after I did my speech about Susie a few weeks ago. Susie had a good time and really enjoyed the speech from Frankie. I really like those guys at Kent Speakers. They are great. Everyone is really good fun, it is a really supportive group, and whats more - people are fabulous speakers!
What is so great about today? Well - I woke up this morning and remembered - we…

Its been interesting - creating my own reality doesn't necessarily mean that I know what's coming next!
I've been feeling very restless in my job in the past year. I often have a heavy feeling going to work each day. What I do - I manage a small staff team (10-12 people) who support two men with learning disabilities in their home. Managing staff has definitely been a journey for me which has been hellish at times but I'm thankful for learning necessary lessons. When I look back on my life it w…

I have been having a really excellent week. We have accomplished a lot of tasks at my job and I find myself building stronger bonds with my coworkers. The other day, one of my coworkers noticed the figure I had of a World of Warcraft Troll Priest I has on my desk. Well it turns out he also used to play a lot i…

Today was an absolutely amazing day CoCreators!!! The energy is shifting and it is shifting very quickly! I had a pretty good day at work today. I came in a bit late, but when I did I finalized my paper work for my new job and started decorating my desk as seen above. It is a bit fuzzy but from left to righ…

I have been doing quite well in my new role as I balance multiple projects as well as my new responsibilities. I enjoy having more responsiblitiy and having a greater awareness of the big picture at my company. That is also a lesson I loved in World of Warcraft. In the game I love being the leader. I enjoy…

Your ability to imagine will help the next logical steps come to you faster. Work the bugs out in your imagination. You don't have to build little things and bigger things. You can do it all in your mind. We're not talking about the next logical action step. Use your imagination until your big dream feels so familiar that the manifestation is the next logical step. --- Abraham

I just read this comment on a youtube video that I enjoyed by Louise Hay that said, “yea right!! say you want a range rover and you will get it, why hard work?!” I found this comment so interesting and I feel kind of bad for the person who left it. It doesn’t take much thought to realize that it is not the people working the hardest that are judged as doing the best in life. Working harder rarely leads to huge rewards. In fact, some of the hardest working people on earth are also so of the poore…

So I realized that today marks a whole year of me taking part in the whole '100 day challenge'. So yaaaay for that!!! :)
A year has flown by quickly, it feels like it was only yesterday that I started coming on here. I am so glad I made the choice to start as this 'challenge' has helped me. I am greatful to Lilou and Vibe. I came across there videos on YouTube and through them was directed to this lovely site. :)
I went back and read my 1st couple of blog posts and I remember the feelings I wa…

Personal Progress:
I gave up drinking nearly 3 weeks ago now. It was my own decision and not due to anything too bad, just a choice to feel better, for longer, not just up and down, peaks and troughs all the time, but more of a constant OK feeling, hopefully rising to a great feeling of happiness...
Work:
Things are looking up, I have designed some amazing leaflets to distribute for my Web company, thing is I never knew I was capable of such design, not meaning to big myself up too much, but I…

One of the things I’ve come to appreciate is that whenever we tell our life story (and I don’t mean just blurting out a few details to a stranger about how we feel we’ve been mistreated) then we are forced to reassess important aspects of who we are.
This is best accomplished when we write things down. Why is that? Simply because when we write we usually manage to slow down our minds a little, enough to notice just exactly what it is we really are saying. When we talk the words all too often fl…

I went in to the Reality Challenge feeling confused and unsure of my next steps in life. This bothered me, because up until now, I was pretty confident in my life decisions and next steps. While I do have several goals for this Season, I mainly started this challenge to receive the mental clarity that positive thinking provides. I must say that through a combination of positive thinking and daily affirmations, not only am I feeling as if the cloud of confusion has been lifted from my head, I als…

Hi Cocreators!
Here is my list of goals followed by my progress in total on this day! My progress on these is in bold!
I have made myself known as an excellent actress and improved my skills drastically. I have options to make a living as an actress, especially in a new place, like Vancouver, BC. Playing parts that are challenging interesting and awesome!
(I am making progress with my new camera, acting class has given me useful footage August 1, I have gotten my IMDB profile promised to me…

Today is the last day of June 2009, wow, time seems to go ever faster. I've been working with my daughter on her potty training. She's doing really well since we started about 10 days ago. It takes a lot of focus to assist her in this development, so I'm not online as much to be more in tune with her. I've managed to create a basic outline of the content I will expand for my new website, so I'm making some progress towards my goals. I still have more organizing to do to get my office to where I…

Hi Cocreators!
My computer has been having problems so it has been inconsistent to get online and stay there.
I am hoping to hear about my second interview today or tomorrow.
I stayed hopeful and focused in general and am making good progress towards a great future!
I also got another call from my favorite casting directors, so it sounds like they still love me!
If this particular client of theirs loves me, I will know in a few days.
I still feel somewhat sad, but I have a lot to do, so that ke…

It was Day 40, and a dark and stormy day!
I downshifted a little emotionally, but not a lot, and I did have a plan for my acting work and had a good time with it. I also listened to the piece a few times before bed. It doesn't need to be memorized, but I should have a plan for it and I do!
I did visualizations and some affirmations that my audition went well.
I also decided to stay open to the idea of doing some work in my other profession. So I emailed one of my favorite recruiters and asked…

There isn't anything anybody wants that is for any other reason than that they think they would feel better in having it.
