I have been intrigued by the video program of teaching your baby to read. I know that if done in a fun way, it is very doable.I am ordering the kit and I will try it out on my granddaughter this summer if she is interested. If it works I will make it available Maybe that would be a fun thing for me to teach little kids to ready. It will also help them develop self esteem and prepare them for formal education. I am excited about this. I think it will be lots of fun.

I got the call (the email) to participate in the CCRC Season 12, my Season one, and jumped. Since my last Season, which I did not finish, I have moved to a new country! And I'm ready to kick off this 100 days and finally start manifesting the things in my life that I haven't been focusing on as much since the move. It's time!
In the next 100 days I will reach my fitness goals - my goal weight, my desired physical appearance in a swim suit, my eating goals and my goal to run a half marathon. I'l…

Hello everyone, a couple of weeks ago i sent a message to all of the people that i have listed as 'friends' about a FREE life reading. A great number of people responded and said that it came a at a great time in their life. There are so many people now in the CCOR community that i can never keep up, so i am putting out a blog to see if anyone else in the community will be interested in a FREE Life Reading by a reliable psychic (that i work with in another field) who also has a spiritual guide.…

Well, this is something new. I am now a pioneer of simultaneous seasonality! A new set of intentions, and 100 days to cram it all in before it all falls apart for yuletide.
I'll really get cracking tomorrow, but today I've figured out what I want to do. Season 1 (still in progress) has been frustrating in some ways but hugely successful in others. A few intentions are carried forward, in particular writing my second website, for which I want to do 100 articles within the first 50 days. A relate…

With just 12 more days to go on season 1, unfortunately there's no way I'm going to achieve ALL of my intentions, but going through them, I feel like I've done quite well on some of them, especially the health and fitness goals, all of which I have achieved. And I've laid the groundwork for those goals I haven't quite achieved yet.
Anyway, today I cycled 23 miles and I went to the library where, unknown to me, there was a book waiting to be picked up. I'm getting a bit of a backlog on my readin…

Well, Sunday is rarely a productive day for me, but I suppose it was OK today. I did cycle about 11 miles, bringing me over 2000 miles cycled this year, and I hula hooped quite a bit too. I deliberately hula hoop from left to right because I find it harder and it takes more effort to keep it going. I've managed some brilliant recoveries after the hoop's dropped to my hips - and all while reading too! (Currently reading Michael Palin's diaries, an enormous hardback book that's quite difficult to…

Went to the library this morning. Knowledge is power and all that. Got that hypnosis CD I mentioned, also a book on the theories of Daniel Dennett (I so don't fit in round here, do I?), which looks hard work but worth it, and a biography of the writer/impresario Willie Donaldson, which I had out before but need to check a few things from as research for my website. I'm currently reading "The New Buddhism" by David Brazier, which is interesting but so dismissive of huge swathes of Buddhist though…

Really, I very much doubt anyone else has ever read "The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde" from beginning to end while simultaneously hula hooping. An achievement which will no doubt be celebrated for generations to come. Anyway, if you want to hone your simultaneous hula hooping / paperback reading skills, it's a good book to do it with as it's quite short. I polished it off in about an hour. While hula hooping. Which I personally think adds to the experience.
Also went cycling, did s…

Its been about ten days since I posted a blog. Having a new baby around has taken some of my internet time away. I've been doing more of my reading and meditating lately. I haven't been getting a chance to do any yoga. I've been too tired from being up all night to do anything in the morning. I be so ready to go to bed at night that I don't take the time to do it then. I only been able to get ten minutes a day for my meditation. I've been reading a new book, which reminds me that I have books du…

My interest has been heightened over a few comments from a coworker and fellow CCOR members lately. I'm considering going hunting for a really good Spiritual cookbook for the soul. [Not actual cooking.] My coworker and I have been learning Japanese together, also... he picked up a book on Hiragana and Katakana yesterday. I should borrow it. ^_^

Hello, my Co-Creating friends! Here I am, a week into the Challenge, so I thought it time to take stock.
I'm pretty pleased with how things are going. I've been meditating every day, and most days that's gone really well. Today, however, I had a really hard time quieting my body, and therefore my mind. I experienced all those twitches and itches that I've experienced in the past. I bet I couldn't go three minutes without moving or scratching! So different from most of my meditation experiences…

Not loads to report today but I have collected my chickens which my daughters are very excited about....we can't wait until they start laying! Meeting at my office this morning when we discussed the market and the need for us to all stay very positive whilst we are surrounded by other offices beginning to close down.
At the suggestion of someone(?) I went onto the secret.tv site and printed out the Universal Bank cheque to fill in and put somewhere, either my vision board or somewhere else prom…

A "wash-out" day today. It just rained and rained all day. It's still raining now. So I didn't go cycling, in fact I haven't done any real exercise today. If I had running training scheduled, I think I would probably have done it no matter what, but today was a scheduled rest day for that. I did get around to printing out a load of the ebooks and things that have been accumulating in my inbox, and put them in a nice folder. I am grateful for hole punches with slide-out bits for aligning the hole…

Things which gave me a great sense of achievement today: doing my mile walk/jog and changing my bicycle chain.
If you've never changed a bicycle chain before (and until today, neither had I) then you have no idea what a fiddly and messy job it is. You need a special tool a bit like a miniature vice that holds two links in place, and then you turn the tiny handle to push the joining rivet out. Then you remove the old chain, carefully thread the new chain round and through all the various bits it…

I got a great amount of sleep last night after going to bed at a reasonable time. I woke up this morning at about eight o’clock and am happy in knowing “normal” sleep is quite attainable and doable.
I wanted to share a book that I have read as well as one I am currently reading. If you’re interested in leadership I would suggest

I am reading a really neat book called To Bee or Not to Bee. It is an allegory about, would you believe Bees) I am only in the beginning and there are many lessons to be learned. i love this book by John Penberthy. We were able to see Taragh and a few others, It was fun. I am hoping to get more people in my area to joing our wonderful…
