Odd Days of Reverie
Day 23
I finally started painting today. It's about time because I've been putting it off forever. Then last night I was reading this woman's blog and she said "If you really want to do something and you don't do it, then you really don't want it.." I was like "wow" when I read that. I thought to myself I really do wantto paint and then my mind said "then maybe you should start." That seemed to wake me up and get me out of my laziness. I painted today for about an half hour… Continue

Day 71 Season 3
Personal Progress:
Still keeping off the booze although had a few little lapses, which just convinced me more that I’m on the right track by not drinking, it just doesn’t feel good anymore, or at least the majority of the time, yeah I enjoy the initial buzz of alcohol but the bad feelings, dehydration and hangover effects just aren’t worth the few hours of pleasure.
Been going through a lot at home, my partner is going through a miscarriage (hence the lapses in not drinking), f… Continue

This October 2009 month, in my Universal Laws and Principle--Cocreate your reality meetup.com group and book club, I covered the topic of self-physician and self-health. I had much joy as I talked about the abundance of the universe, and in relation to our good health and wellness.
A book I covered was the science of being well by Wallace D. Wattles. Hear is a highlight from this classic book.

If you've read some of my previous blog posts, you know that I've been dealing with major back pain issues. With limited access to health care it has been quite scary. Nonetheless, I've been focusing in a positive way and trying to release the worry about that aspect of my life.
When I was obsessing about back surgery and complaining about the low quality doctors available to me, the pain seemed to keep getting worse. Now things seem to be falling into place.
What happened so far:
I was able t… Continue
So, I've been meditating more lately to clear my mind of obsessive thoughts about my back pain. It wasn't easy, but meditation is usually the road to clarity for me. However, it can be difficult to meditate when you don't feel well. So, I took a couple of the affirmations from the Health Affirmations page on my site.
I wrote "My body heals quickly and easily" over and over. I was amazed at the relief that I felt within seconds… Continue

This journey is so much about becoming the best me possible. I find it easier to incorporate healthier ways of being once I get started. I have decided to transition to raw foods and test that out for the 45 days of my 100 day challenge. Why 45 days? I am planning a big trip back to the US and for me, it's an attainable goal. The point is to make raw foods my lifestyle but for now, I'll make a smaller goal. I've been vegan for awhile and since moving to a new country I have mainly been sustainin… Continue

Some days its worse, some days it's better. Today the lethargy and the headaches became so paramount and almost became unbearable. My eyes started to well up with tears when I thought about the life I used to live. How I used to take my health for granted. How I used to be able to run fine on little sleep and not sufficient nutrition. Not good, I know. I mourn the toll that the physical ailments have taken on my creative energy and vitality. But this is all useless, this is no good.
Dr. Michael… Continue
I wish I had something really great to report, but I don't. It's making me a little edgy since things aren't really 'happening' or happening in the way I think they should happen.
I know I have to let go of the how and just focus on creating my reality on a daily basis, but my brain works in strange and mysterious ways. Sometimes I get in such a rut that I can't seem to pull my energy up and can't find that good feeling energy to get me out of the ditch. So, I will concentrate on what I do have… Continue
