Tamara Rasheed Keep Moving Forward! Day 25 of Season 8

Hello everyone! I am 1/4 of the way through my challenge! 75 more days to become closer in the achievement of my intentions. I put in some bids today on some additional writing projects. There was one project that will pay a minimum of $100 per week for 100 articles at 250 - 300 words each. That is really exciting because those articles are half the amount of words for the current articles I am writing for much more money per month. I had sent a letter in to the university that I want to atte… Continue

Morg 025

This morning, like most started off with me checking my email. I received an email from youtube saying that someone had commented on one of my videos. So, naturally I longed into youtube to see what that person had to say. A little background info: For a project for one of my women's studies classes I did a montage video of various youtubers to help facilitate a classroom discussion on the effectiveness of youtube as a feminist space. Anywhoo...this individual commented o… Continue

Chloe Day 9- Following my bliss

I had a great conversation with my friend, Richard, today. We were texting while he was in class, discussing what plans we had for our future. And through talking to each other, we both realized we needed to do what was going to make us feel happy. In my case, that means going to massage therapy school this spring. I planned on going, first in August, and then in October. But both times, I was dissuaded by my parents, and my mother in particular, based on money concerns. I was convinced notContinue

Morg 008

Hello Everyone, I skipped blogging for a couple of days. I was just focused on spending time with family and really deeply thinking about what it is that I want out of life. I was thinking about the life that I wanted and what would be an ideal life for me. I remeber being a child and my parents asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up. As far back as I can remember the first time that I was ever asked that question I told my parents I wanted to be an artist. Up until that point I was told… Continue

Enzeru Day Thirteen:

If you want anything in life make it a study. I believe that the current education system is outdated and more and more parents are working too hard to spend much time with their children let alone educate them on things our school system does not educate them about such as money and finances. I believe our school system is set up to create a bunch of employees instead of a bunch of inspired motivated business owners and financially literate people. For those of you who haven’t done the research… Continue

Enzeru Day Five:

This is going to be a rant type post. I have always been somewhat different than everyone else. My intelligence level is that to where I pick up basically anything with lightening like speed, even to the point of where other people get jealous of my ability to do so. I say not to brag or impress anyone but rather as a note to myself. Even though I pick things up so fast it has come to my attention that I do absolutely nothing with it. Sure I may have a project here and there but that quickly fad… Continue
