I wish I could have come to appreciate it sooner, but it took me a long time to let go of home. Silly, really! Now, I just realize that I can go where I want nearly whenever I want and that frees me up to do some good old fashioned appreciating of what's right in front of me. Welcome to Big D. You'll love Dallas - of course, any big move is stressful and takes a while to get used to the new place. I really hope you like it here. You'll probably only need your coats and warm clothes for the next 5 weeks or so - then you won't need them again until November or December - Spring is beautiful here and summer, well, can be very hot.

Thanks for the comment back. Yes, Utah which is nearer to Salt Lake is beautiful, especially with the snow around right now. San George is different of course, but I like it down there too. Texas is a nice state. I like it there and almost moved to San Antonio last year but came here instead. You are going to love it down there, plus you won't have to worry about the COOOOLLLLDDDD anymore :))

I have moved and boy am I loving it!!!

I am getting ready to move from Michigan to Dallas Texas. I have never been to Dallas, and I am going down to enroll in a PsyD program. I rented an apartment on the internet after an internet friend looked it over.
I have this urge to go, I know it is time to go, and I have no idea what will actually happen when I get there.
I just know I am supposed to go and that this move is the right thing to do.
I have faith in myself that this is right, I am holding steady in my belief.
I am not worrying about what troubles this may bring tomorrow, because tomorrow never comes.
I am only taking what will fit into my car.
I am optimistic and can't wait to get there to see what is in store for me! :)

I got a web cam over a year ago.... procrastination!

I will be quite busy the next three weeks...

I've graduated from college with a bachelors degree and decided it is now or never!
I have got to get out of Flint Michigan, it is not good for me here in this town. I was going to go to graduate school here, but I changed my mind. I am jumping into the abyss with a grin on my face... I'm moving to Dallas in 2 weeks or so.

The telephone seminar!

The conversation was wonderful!
One thing that occurred to me was that by not sharing our visions (our light) we are in a way keeping a lid on them. It's like a light that's shinning, but the act of sharing takes away the umbrella. The umbrella is our reticence to share or to allow our visions to really shine as brightly as they can.

Does that make sense? :)

Doesn't matter how small the steps, as long as you're moving!

I'm so glad I wandered over to this group. It's exactly what I've been needing, and inspiring me to start doing some serious work and not just thinking about doing it. :]

I am a queen of procrastination. (perhaps that's even a bit of an understatement)

In the next few days I'm going to sit down and plot out some simple steps for me to get going that I can use to build some good habits or organization and being more productive and climb out of the "rut" I'm in now.
