Day 50, Season One. Halfway.
Today was the half-way point of my first season. And this morning, when I logged on to Facebook the quote above was the top status in my news feed. My Thoughts Are Becoming Things...
Yesterday, I wrote: "I will advance to a senior role at work."

Our town is absolutely flooded...only method of transport is by boat!!I'm stuck in the south for a while working because the bus routes are down!!Hopefully things will pick up!!
Had the best lie in this morning,then went shopping in town for the afternoon!So Christmasy with all the lights and jingles playing in the shop!!Watch the x-factor?? I'm starting to really like Olly!I reckon he has good chance of winning it!!I was meant to go see New moon tonight but the girl I'm assisting isn't up for it and its such a pain getting there so another day!!Let me know how it goes!!

Last night was Fantastic!!Had to be up early this morning though which is a bit of a bummer!!! Met some very nice guys which was nice...got a few numeros,well actually I gave mine bcoz I figure if they want 2 exchange no's its up to them to contact!!lol! So we shall see how that unfolds!=)
My bedroom is flooded!!!!My poor mum is so upset because some of the rooms are just ruined!We'll need to get new flooring in and all that jazz!!The kids can't go to school its so bad...its like in the U.S of A when they get snow days off school!I'm sure they are all delighted!!Lovely rain!!
A lot of the roads are closed and trains are down so It might be another quite one in...have no plans as of yet!

Glad to hear that your season is going great for you. Well, I guess i can't complain either as mine is ok too. Oh and btw I haven't pulled any other muscles lately, so sorry no sports injuries to report. lol But yes I'm really into my training which I love so much, esp the running part of it since I hadn't done that for quite some time.
Otherwise, my sweetie is still on his business trip but should be back soon, so he says.
Getting ready for XMAS so am pretty much done my shopping. Have you started yours? How is your job going?

I had a fantastic day today too apart from getting absolutely soaked to the skin this morning!=/
We had a meeting for the center I volunteer for in Uni, were setting up a new program called Best Buddies, its huge in America which is basically befriending someone with intellectual disabilities. Its the first time for the program to be in a University in Ireland and I got the position as Secretary for it!So chuffed! Another thing to help my c.v!
Also, Myself and my close friends sat around this evening planning our trip to the states this summer!!!so excited!Not sure where were going yet but were hoping to get our visas sorted and all that jazz...vegas is def one place we will be visiting! I'm thinking of doing Camp America this Summer which is basically working anywhere in the U.S as a camp counselor,its meant to be an amazing experience,my friend was placed in Florida near a fab lake with wild life everywhere so I'd love something like that! I'm so excited just thinking about it! I know its ages away but I've got to start saving now if I want to get over there!!
Excited for tomorrow but a little bit apprehensive too, but I'm sure I'll be fine!

Sounds good,nice when someone else is cooking! Thats great how the mood shifted..It took me a while this morning! Got in a bit of a tiff with mum so i just went to the gym to vent it off..all was well after that! I hate when there is any confrontation because everything is going so well right now and when an argument happens I wonder how the hell I somehow created it through thought?!!
I'm gonna hop into bed now and dive into The Vortex!Long week ahead,start the new job on Wednesday!!eek!

I think you were right to cancel it if you really knew that it wasn't going to work out! Its not shallow, Its important to be attracted to the person physically but more importantly to have that connection also!Its so weird I've kind of taken a backseat with the whole "boyfriend" thing and by that I mean I've changed my outlook on it! Maybe that is whats needed for something to actually happen?!I dunno, I'm just really content at the moment and know that someday it will just happen!
