- I am a: father, fiance, friend, coworker, son, brother, life coach, writer, creator, deep-thinker, great listener, procrastinator, and lover of life! I had so many great things happen to me in 2008 and yet I found myself down in the dumps most of the time due to the questioning of the religion I was raised on. I have always been more spiritual than religious yet have still struggled while walking away from my comfort zone. I have two amazing children who mean the world to me and a fiance that is everything I asked for. I'm not as passionate about my current day job as I am about my other interests so I'm currently living a hectic life of working, coaching, writing, parenting, and loving. In all honesty, I let life get the best of me in 2008 and it showed in my relationships and my waist line. I am determined to live more deliberately in 2009 and take more control of my life. The 100 Day Challenge is a great way to do that!

- I am continually grateful for all life has given me!

S1 ~ D5 Wrestling with Religion and then Discovering Awareness
It’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and I’m feeling pretty good so far. S1 ~ D3 Lesson Learned -- Make the Most of Every Moment
This is Day 3 of the 100 Day Challenge. Overall, I’m still very excited and hopeful. I’m finding strength and encouragement in one way or another from everyone else that I’ve connected with on this site. Other than being a little busy this weekend with work, kids, and Katie, I’m still determined to get my 30 minutes of writing in every day. A couple things really struck a chord in me when reading your page. I really like Iyanla she's cool and I am on a weightloss and health quest also.
But the big thing was that you said you questioned the religion you were raised in. I do not know what that was but I have recently went through a transformation and change of beliefs. For a significantly and recent time of my life I was a pretty hard core Evangelical Christian. My husband first made the switch if that is what you want to call and and I followed. I realized for me it was empty after I looked over 4 years of journal bits saying how unhappy I was in my life. Not saying it was all that. But I was unfullfilled spiritually. And I am very spiritual person in that I believe there is a GOD over all the Universe. I really believe we are what we think and we attract a whole life of it. I could go on but you get the idea. I went through a lot of fear in letting go of the old ways and thoughts. I have made peace with knowing God has totally led me in a right and different direction. I am meeting new people that confirm it. My biggest change was I got into Reiki. Anyway...This is longer than I intended. I just wanted to encourage you to listen to your heart and intuition on spiritual matters. I believe that is God is speaking to you. I affirm that all your intentions will come to you.Peace.

Decluttering is great, I did a load last season and it felt fantastic, I got rid of a heap of stuff at the recycle and I got my study all organised, still have lots to do, reading your post has inspired me!!! much love XXXTaraxxx
