Refined vision for the next 100 days....

As I said, I got a little overwhelmed with all the ideas floating around out there and took a step back to clarify my goals for the next 90 days. I got very precise with the kitchen description as this is something I have been desiring (whining about) for 6 years! I have read these out loud and announced my intention to complete them over the next 3 months. Here goes!

At the end of April I will

enjoy creating healthful meals in my kitchen, following the advice of my doctor and nutrition… Continue

S1-d11 Looking more deeply...

HI there, everyone!

I have been hiding out and was on the brink of giving up again. There is a habit of thought I have, an ancient one that must have started in childhood, that once I miss a class or two, or a day of posting or any sort of 'less-than-perfect' behavior ...well, I might as well JUST GIVE UP! But, instead of following this path of least resistance and once again "failing", I took a long look at my thoughts and actions and really discovered some things that I can work on.

1. Readi… Continue

S1-d6 It's a new day!!

Well, I must admit to having gotten caught up on the inauguration events yesterday and though I did some work on Donna's suggestions and a Keynote (Powerpoint) vision board I'm working on, most of the day was spent feeling humbled, grateful and in prayer/meditation for the new possibilities in our country now. The community I live in is seen by the rest of our area as the home of Wall Street Republicans, big free marketeers. But almost everyone I know was so very happy to see someone new… Continue

S1-d4- A snowy Sunday

LIstening to the snowplows scraping the street and the shovels of my neighbors as they clear sidewalks and driveways. I sit at my desk working on my affirmations, tweaking the language Lynn roughed out, making them totally my own and believable to me. I adopted on of Debbie Ford's ideas, what is the feeling you want from this desire? So I changed "I allow my life to unfold with the abundant gifts that the Universe has to provide for me" to " I trust and allow my life to unfold with… Continue

Hi Susan- Thought I've responded 2u already. I'm really working on that aspect of my life. It is exhilarating when u can just let it be/go. As Abraham says, when we say mean things, it is a reflection of us, not about the person we maybe uttering the words/statement to. As to the gratitude exercise, I've been doing it for a while now on my gmail docs. I've thanked usually for the outcome I want as if it's done & the outcome that comes is done. It is overcast here in SoCal, nevertheless warmest regards to you! stay in touch

hi susan! thank you for the compliment! i had guilty feelings doing my vision board at first. it's hard to explain...sort of like: "do i have a right to ask for all this?" "if i deserved it, wouldn't i have it!?" ... those are feelings i've always struggled with and had to put them aside to do this. it's been a great journey so far.

I found out how to resize an image in MS Paint, which is pre-installed on almost every computer. You can probably find it under "Accessories" in your Start menu, or right-click an image file, select "Edit," and that should open it in MS Paint. On the toolbar, select "Image," then select "Attributes" from the drop-down menu, and you can change the dimensions there.

I poked around this site & Ning.com for any info on image size restrictions, I couldn't find any. Since the site hosts videos, which are much bigger than images, you should be okay with the file size.
