- Hi I'm Gramma Shirah! I am now a 71 year young retired schoolteacher, author of Gramma Shirah Says Words of Wisdom and Gramma Shirah Says More Words of Wisdom, and lover of life. I am married to Will for 31 years. We have 4 grown children and 9 grandchildren. I love to teach women's groups and parenting groups. I am looking for ways to help young people learn to love themselves and take care of themselves so they can take care of others. I want to keep the positive energy going . Love Shirah

- For the next 100 days I intend to connect more with Spirit by meditation, relaxation, listening to great music and having fun. I intend to travel, enjoy each moment, spend time with my husband Will as we develop our projects. I intend to continue to help with the wonderful work being done by the RCBSFl.com family. That is Redirecting Children's Behavior of South Florida.com which is leading the community in parenting classes and workshops. I intend to widen my reach for Women of Wonder Workshops as well. I intend to allow financial abundance to come to me as I learn to value who I am and consider my worth.Above all at this time I will take care of my body and the condition I have called spondylolytheses. I am learning more about it and how to treat it. I intend to continue to enjoy a vital and active lifestyle even if I do have to curtail certain things for a while. I will continue to practice patience. I also intend to spend more time learning how to create videos and share my wisdom on the internet. Emotional Guidance Scale for Kids
I have incorporated the Emotional Guidance Scale for Kids as part of my demonstration of positive Mental Health from the I'm Thumbody program....The thoughts we tell ourselves affects our emotions. If we want to be happy we need to keep thinking positive thoughts. when we tell ourselves bad thoughts we feel bad.I read the book Have You Filled Your Bucket today? which is an amazing book for children about feeling good about yourself by being kind to others.

August 20,2009 Season 5 Opening My Heart
I am going to spend the next 100 days mindfully focusing on loving myself and others. So for starters I want you all to know about me. I am a very lovable and loving child of God. I am a good girl. August 1, 2009 Looking forward to a new year
August and September are always the beginning of the year for me, since that is when school begins. So even though I have been retired going on eight years, I still get the feeling of newness at this time. I am looking forward to being more active and proactive in my life. I want to continue to teach in a religious school and maybe even Hebrew after school. I want to work with kids this year. I might increase my volunteering while I look for a paying job.

CCOR Revisited
Sorry I have been away for so long. I have had back surgery on June 1 and my Mother died on July 9th . So it has been a hard time for me. Thankfully I have had to much loving support from all my friends and family on Facebook and on CCOR. Love shirah

My granddaughter just told me that her friend saw my book in her pediatricians office in Portland, Oregon. I am excited that my book is all over the Universe. if you have read my books, please let me know what you think. I love those stories. Love Gramma Shirah

Joyce Dekkers said… - I'm currently studying Nutition and Dietetics in Amsterdam, so I'm only living in Tilburg ; ) I like it here, I have to walk 5 minutes to the shopping area and super markets and across the street there's a parc so I can also be surrounded by trees and everything. That's probably also why so many families with little children are living here : ) Have you travelled a lot? Not so many tourists come to see Tilburg when they are in the Netherlands. More Amsterdam or The Hague

- Great to hear you have such good memories about Tilburg. It actually exists 200 years this year, so there are a lot of activities to celebrate it. I'm really surprised by the words that you still know: snoepje and luiers was it right? Those are not the easiest I guess. I think the centre has changed a lot since you've been here. You could google pictures on 'Tilburg' to see how it looks like now : )
