For Aleta

".....learning achieved by students is generally superficial and largely decontextual from student experience and,life of the community. In other words, it is inauthentic learning, superficial learning, fake learning, make believe learning, rather than something that intrinsically adds value to students' lives and prepares them for responsible adulthood. Schools continue to go about the business of learning-the primary work of the school- as though it was simple or primarily an intellectual ende… Continue

I wanted to weave this story for you like a beautiful tapestry, because it has so many interesting threads, any of which perhaps would make an interesting angle for the show. There is so much to say, so I will try to keep it as brief as possible. This has been such a year for miracles for me. I a… Continue

Extreme Home Make Over's (Ty Pennington) The Art of Allowing

OK, this is just weird. I was asked to talk to a student who might be homeless because his roof collapsed during a recent storm. Right before I went to talk with him, I got an email from a friend asking for nominations for Extreme Home Make Overs. I nominated the family...got an email from a producer today!!! I hope they are chosen!! I love allowing! So surprising and fun!

Good morning Sherry. I've been meditating on the exact wording for my Season 5 and it just was not coming to me -- until this morning. I'll be doing SURRENDERING TO THE EFFORTLESS FLOW in Season 5. I'm very excited about this focus because there are so many important lessons for me: follow the energy, no struggling to make things happen, trusting everything, knowing that ease is possible, staying in reality instead of focusing on what's not happening. I am looking forward to sharing Season 5 with you -- in whatever way it manifests for both of us. We are so blessed to have been touched by the Grace of God in this lifetime.

Thanks Sherry I am Grateful for you. I know what you see everyday. I too work for the school system. At A middle school. Even yesterday I met A young man, one of the teachers told me he was marked with that type of behavior and immediately said he is an INDIGO child that's all to the teacher. But of course she did not understand. Everything Doreen said about those type of children is true. {LOVE M.S.I}

Hola Sherry:

Me dio tanto gusto recibir tu comentario.

Tu hermana Elisa
