Wow! I'm almost at the half way point of my challenge. Time to reflect on how my intentions are shaping up. I'll start with the writing. My intention was to write, write, write on my book. I stayed up late last night waiting for the election results and I was shocked and overwhelmed by the flood of emotions that came over me. I cried like an infant for so many reasons.
I cried for my 11 year old self who wanted to go to a school dance with Jonathan Noble only to hear the next day through gossip that his mom wouldn't let him go to the dance with a nigger.

This season has been off to a slow start for me. Taking a couple of months off between seasons is not something I will do again. It's been mostly about getting back to basics for me. Retraining my mind. Refocusing. I did some powerful affirmations yesterday. I could actually feel the power of them! It was invigorating.

I have spent the past week and a half just really trying to zone in on the life I want to create for myself. Trying to narrow it down. As I learned in my first season, it's so easy to be all over the place in this challenge.
