- First, I am a mother to a beautiful 13yr old boy and a wife to an amazing man.
We just moved to Portland,Or in September and it felt really good to get out of Michigan. I amstarting resh in a new town with a new job,new people, and no sense of direction yet.
I own a batik clothing business called Tree Town Batiks.www.treetownbatiks.com.I taught myself how to Batik after not being able to find fun ,unique clothes for my son.I also am very interested in Art and creating.I taught in a Montessori school for 4 years and then went on to become a Homeschool teacher in Art and Science,and a Nanny, where I still taught just on a smaller scale.
I currently am learning how to snowboard,reading more books on the law of attracting, and finding new ways to have a successful online business.I have my clothing in several shops around town and hope to ave them in many more.
Would love to hear any postive tis,advice,or just comments on starting the challenge and making it an ongoing everyday lifestyle.

Being invited to demonstrate my Craft/Art on the Martha Stewart show.
Getting 2 reliable cars that both Baba and I can enjoy.We now have 2!!
Being able to give back to the community.
Feeling more love and passion in my marriage.
Creating wonderful new money making ideas.
Winning fabulous prizes all the time.
Teaching children-teens_I'm now a Montessori Teacher
Feeling healthy and focused.
Having all my teeth fixed and whitened.
Learning to play the guitar.
Having patience with children and my husband.
Having money to spend on whatever it is we need for our family.

I just LOVE your batiks, I know I will have to pinch the budget a litttle so I can get something for us. I have been noticing for years that there are so few fashions for young boys that are fun and colorful, most are dark and rude! I have wanted to start my own business, too, so congrats on doing such a fabulous thing!
Well, I am in NE Portland, I love this area, feel really fortunate to have "landed" here in Portland after moving back to the USA from England. I don't think I could live anywhere else in the States.
