Hi Jennifer!
Nice to meet you here! I justed visited your website. Your jewelry is beautiful. I LOVE the little goddesses - last week I was in a museum here in Wiesbaden(Germany) in a Goddesses Exhibition (http://www.frauenmuseum-wiesbaden.de/ ) I bet your goddesses would have been a bestseller in the museum shop!
All the Best for you!

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Hi! I am a happy person :) I'm married to a wonderful guy, I have a great job, and I am a talented lampwork glass bead artist. My business name is "NorLigh Creations" because I find the Northern Lights to be utterly enchanting and truly magical. I love to read, write, make beads and jewelry, spend time with my husband, watch "Fringe" & "True Blood" and reruns of the BEST TV show ever, "The X-Files," play with my three cats, learn, talk about Gerard Butler, and plenty of other stuff (I'm kinda ADD!) I'm very creative and I talk a lot. I'm interested in alternative spirituality and I communicate with my spirit guides (and sometimes other people's guides pop in for a visit too.) I love to bake but then I eat all the goodies I make. I am a voracious reader. I adore books. I hoard them- I love the feel of the pages and the smell of the paste. The last book I bought was "Twilight" (last night) and the last paragraph I read was when Edward told Bella he was tired of trying to stay away from her. *Shivers* The crackle of a new book binding or the slight groan of an old one enthralls me. Have you ever wondered about the energy of a library book? All the different people who have read it, held it, cried laughed loved over it? Their emotions and energy seeping into the pages. If a library book could talk I wonder what it would say? How powerful... Books are magic! I'm scared of aliens yet transfixed by them. I have very vivid night time dreams often. I plan on one day writing a book based simply on the dreams I've had- making them into short stories.
Season:
Season 1
Starting Date:
October 1, 2008
Intentions & Goals:
Commit dedicated time and energy to my art. Draw more jewelry business to me through better real time and Internet marketing. Get more orders. Create home shows. Book at least 8 art shows in the next year. Continue to be grateful for all the good in my life. Write without critical thought, letting all of the amazing ideas I have flow from my brain and heart to my hand. Eat what is good for my body. Be more active. Laugh more. Stress less. Love life. Be calm. Stay young. Drink more water. Gain confidence. Lose insecurity. Attract money but be thankful for what I have now. Live in the moment and leave worry behind. Make new friends. Love myself unconditionally. Love others unconditionally. Dance. Be joyful. Bring joy to others.

I know it's a lot but I also know these things can be done. I can do all of this and more.

The last intention I must make very specifically is the following:

I will finish writing a book and submit for publication.
Practices:
Vision Board, Blogging, Journaling, Reading, Meditation, Creating intentions, Participating in seminars, Brainstorming

October~ The Busiest (Most Fun!) Month Ever!

Wow! It's day 30! I haven't been able to post much or keep up with blogging, e-mail or much of anything else this month (including housecleaning!) because October has been chock full o' fun stuff. October is by far my most favorite month to begin with but this October has been incredible. My brother Ryan and his wife Amanda had their first child, Liam, the first baby in our family in FOREVER. I saw three concerts: New Kids on the Block, Celtic Thunder and Billy Currington (who I got to meet and… Continue

Day Eight

So I do try to learn something every day, and get something positive from each day. Today I had some positives, and I also had a negative but it was something that was most likely supposed to teach me a lesson.

My husband and I went out for a little while this evening, and while I am tired, and it is midnight and I have to wake in about 6 hours for work, I can't sleep. I'm actually wondering if he is really sleeping or just pretending that he is sleeping right now.

We didn't have a fight, or e… Continue

Autumn Happy Dance!

Autumn is my favorite time of year. It seems to be a favorite of people everywhere.

""Then summer fades and passes and October comes. We'll smell smoke then,
and feel an unexpected sharpness, a thrill of nervousness, swift elation, a
sense of sadness and departure."
~Thomas Wolfe

"O Autumn, laden with fruit, and stained
With the blood of the grape, pass not, but sit
Beneath my shady roof; there… Continue

Hooray for Day One!

I have a lot to learn about this Manifestation program! It looks and seems very fun and interesting. I won't be able to really check it out until this weekend. Thank you to my friend Kristy Robinett who share the program with me. Right now I am manifesting the VERY quick end to the beginning of a cold (and cold SORE) a few days before my little sister's much anticipated bachelorette party! The same party for which I bought a corset that makes me look like a really pretty plus-sized Barbie doll (… Continue
