That's right, a huge check. I have been meditating on receiving money to set my things up, pay some bills, etc. and I received a check from work, some money they owed me that I didn't know abo...
So what have we decided upon??? I've since launched to more ideas! One, positive parenting.......please join (I know you have already Shelyn, thank you:-) ) and I had an idea earlier, not quite sure how its going to work but about some kind of swa...

My name is Guylaine, I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I have been with my husband for 8 1/2 years, married for almost 7. We have 2 wonderful kids; William 5 1/2 years old and Cindy-Lynn who's almost 17 months old.
I've been working for the federal government here in Canada for 11 years and would LOVE a change of careers. I thought doing paperwork would suffice to make me happy in a professional career but I was mistaking :( I would love to change jobs but can't afford it at this time. (that will be on my vision board, HA!) heheee
My husband only works seasonal as a lumberjack, that's all we can afford considering all it costs if we both work all year long...
We live in my parents' basement. It's like a house, really. We have our own driveway that goes all the way to the back of the house, we have our own private entrance, a park for the kids and the dog and it's pretty private except for the stairway which communicates between the basement and the main floor where my parents live. We like it here, we have all we need and it's big enough for the 4 of us. The only thing is that it's hard sometimes when it comes to discipline the kids (my husband or I would say no for something and my 5 year old would just go upstairs to get what he wants, from grandma or grandpa.....) it's really hard to try to all stay on the same discipline level but we deal with it not so badly.
Hummm, what else?? Oh yeah, William was diagnosed with autism in May of 2007 by a group of specialists. William is a very special child... it's hard to explain but I'll do my best.
William started to walk at 21 months old and still doesnt speak fluently at the age of almost 6. He understands, I'd say, 90% of the French language but can't speak it out. We were surprised to get a diagnostic of autism because William is a very social kid. Most people think (we did too, before we got more explainations) that an autistic kid is automatically in his own little world, his own little bubble. It isn't so. Autism is a condition that touches very different aspects of a child's mental health like speech, hearing, social attitude, learning disabilities, discipline problems and many, many more things. William has a big problem with his speech and has learning disabilities. Because of his learning disabilities, it's like, he's a 3 year mind in a 5 year old physical body. Imagine what a 3 year old would be capable of doing with a 5 year old body??? WOOHOO! Quite some SPORT!
It's very hard to have a sick kid. We have the ABA therapy for autistic kids at home, five days a week and we recently started daycare as a part of the therapy. He goes to daycare 2 half-days a week so we can have a chance to learn "child vocabulary" with other kids his age.
We also have him on Occupational Therapy at the hospital once a week and we will start a Speech Therapy block soon too. Woooof! What a job! Thank God that our daughter is perfectly normal in her learning so far.
Well, just to tell you guys a bit about me and my situation in life. Very busy mommy.... what else can I say?
Can anyone relate? I don't wish this to anyone, not even to my worst ennemy (well, I don't have any ennemies but still), if one of you reads this and knows what it is like to live with an autistic kid, please, we could go through this together.

S1, D8 - There's something about the LOA that I don't understand
Ok... let me explain
Here we are, creating vision boards, meditating, blogging, journaling and so forth but something doesn't sound right to me. I watched some videos on youtube and read some ebooks about the LOA and it says that one very important step is to LET GO. As if, if all you do is thinking about what you want all the time and don't let go of that thought to send it to the universe so it can manifest itself in real life, it won't work. What do you think?

S1, D3 - Few manifestations and preparing affirmations/meditations wav files tonight

Today was a quiet day AND I was in a good mood. I am thankful for that. :)
So here's my update for Day3 of my First season...
A few manifestations:
- Got a lop eared rabbit - wanted to get one since last summer. She's in the cage right next to me right now, very quiet, cuddly, sweet and so adorable. I am Thankful ....
For the teenager who is not doing dishes but is watching t.v.
Because that means he is at home and not on the street.
For the taxes that I pay,
Because it means that I am employed.
