Fantastic goals you have listed above. Students today need as many people "on their side of the court" as possible. Kids face many obstacles to finding their life's purpose, not the least of which is the current configuration of goverment policies as to what constitutes a successfully educated human being. I believe it is the job of schools to find the special qualities of each student within the context of providing a well rounded education.
More power to you for presenting the truth to students that they can succeed and that the gifts within them (whatever they may be) are and will be increasingly valuable to share with the world.
