I usually hide behind my kids and my excuses as to why I'm not engaging in LIFE or pursuing any personal goals. There are so many things that I would love to accomplish in this life, but the thought of failing keeps me frozen. But in actuality, not even trying is guaranteeing a failure.

I know I'm going about this haphazardly, and I'm not using all the steps. I just kinda jumped in with both feet and crossed my fingers. My main challenges I was going to face this first 100 days are 1) creating a clean/organized/peaceful home and 2) taking better care of my health. So far the house has received a good cleaning and I have completely tackled my library/office room. It's getting more organized, but the best part is that it's becoming my dream room. My older daughter was able to have a friend over and was so proud to show off her home. It almost made me cry. At first she grumbled about pitching in, but now she is totally on the bandwagon and is clearing clutter. We've donated a carload of clothes and other necessities. Our house is really becoming a home. My second goal, I committed to participate in a marathon this fall. A FULL MARATHON!!! SCARY!!! I have never done anything like this, but I'm also kind of excited along with being scared. My training starts today. I'm running/jogging/walking 2 miles afterwork. Ready or not, here I go!!! Good Luck to all of you, Many Blessings!!!
