It is very important to be with your baby. I stayed home with my boy for 2 years even though it was difficult in terms of money. You are doing the right thing. As far as the future job you have the luxury of observing the job market from afar, use this time to investigate where & what you might want to do. Your wishes will become more specific until your goals are answered by the universe.

How is your job search for a different more fulfilling job going? I too am looking for a different job. I was a teacher for over 30 years. I enjoyed that career very much, ... but at my age I am now seeking another type of challenge.

My dream job is to be an event/conert manager in Munich, Germany (where I live). I am a project Manager currently in the Telco Industry, however I definitely need to get out of there as it is not the right industry for me to be in.
Let's live out loud and discuss what our dream jobs are! It's okay if you don't know what it is yet. Declare your intention to find your dream job and manifest it. It always helps to have supportive people to encourage you along the way.
