It's like with anything else~ if you did it before, you can probably do it through at least some of the trimesters of pregnancy. But be sure to ask your doctor.
If you're planning on getting pregnant, let me tell you what I tell every woman in your position~ take up bellydancing!
I'm a petite woman, and the women in my family have had difficult deliveries. ~ I'm actually the smallest one!
But my first child was born "textbook-perfect" (Attending intern's words, not mine~ it didn't feel so perfect where I was!), after 4 hours of labor. The second child was born in 1 1/2 hours of labor, the third child in 1hour and 15 minutes. We all did fine!
So, you see, it works! In the Middle East, I hear they use bellydance during labor, to speed things along. I've bellydanced (self-taught) for fun for years, and it's the only logical reason for my speedy, smoother deliveries.
Thank you for posting on my manager's rant yesterday. I feel a bit better today. Your post helped me alot. How did you manage to let it go? Did you do something in particular? I just hate being treated so shabbily by a company I admire and like so much. I didn't think a transfer back would be such a huge deal.
Anyway, I love your advice. Let it go. Let it go. I am doing all I can and the rest is up to the universe. I have faith in the universe to bring my perfect managerial job to me.
Pleased to meet you! I agree with Laura - your profile pic is just gorgeous! Always happy to meet an American :-) I've been obsessed since I grew up watching American TV shows. I can actually name all 50 states. Ha!! Here's wishing you the most awesome 100 days when you officially begin!
Thanks for being my friend =P
Good luck on your journey =D
Shine On Sister!
