That last attempt rather petered out, so I'm starting again tomorrow. That's all I'm saying right now, so good night!

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
Having finally lost some of my excess weight (still a way to go yet!) I'm now looking to change, ooh... everything else in my life! Well, not everything. But there are other challenges I want to tackle now, as well as keeping my weight loss going.
Season:
Season 3
Starting Date:
May 4, 2009
Intentions & Goals:
Ho hum, Season 2 kind of collapsed, so let's put that aside and move right on.

Season 3 intentions

Season 3, I would like to write and record some cool meditation/visualisation audios... also I'm going to start off with a few days' fasting, not for any particular purpose except to see what it's like.

Financial abundance through creativity and general brilliance (or "making loads of dosh in an enjoyable way")
*Find something that I can make and sell.
*I have two websites that I have been working on, on and off, for ages, and my intention is to get them both properly up and running within the 100 days. Lot of research, writing, and probably figuring out the odd bit of computer stuff. The ultimate goal is to have these sites making me money on two fronts: directing people to shopping sites in a very gentle way, and perhaps more importantly, I've put a lot of research into these sites, to the extent that I can honestly claim to gained some considerable expertise in the subject areas covered (one is about a musical subject, the other about a comedy subject) and hopefully once these sites are running, it may lead to offers of work, maybe a book...
*De-clutter and sell stuff. And with the proceeds...
*Reduce or pay off credit card debts.

Health and fitness
*Cycle at least 1000 miles in 100 days.
*Give yoga a proper go.
*Try kickboxing (I have a book on this).
*Get my body fat down to 15% or less.

Financial abundance through creativity and general brilliance
*Get my other website up and running.
*Write an ebook or two. Probably not for sale, but will be a start toward possible future projects.
*Look into creating "passive income"
*Get a paid writing commission.

Learning cool stuff
*Learn to speed-read
*Learn some Gaelic
*Learn about birds (because I know nothing about them at the moment. I know rooks are black, that's about all)

Other things
*Organise time better generally
Practices:
Vision Board, Fitness, Meditation, Affirmations, Creating intentions

Free resources

Running programme: I'm using the eight-week 5km training schedule downloadable free from Jog Scotland.

Liv Delicious: Tips, tapping scripts and games to improve body image and confidence and help to change your life, sign up at livdelicious.com

Complaint Free: I haven't actually used this but having mentioned it above, here's the link: a complaint free world

Free audio: I like the free relaxation audio from Natalie Dee, even though she does do that weird thing of emphasising odd words that Paul McKenna also does.

PDF reader: Contrary to what 99% of ebook publishers tell you, you don't need Acrobat Reader to open .pdf files. I use Foxit Reader which is nice to use and opens in hardly any time at all. Windows only (though there's a Linux version in beta). I use version 2.0 on Windows 98, which isn't officially supported but I've had no problems with it.

Day 15: Assembling a website

I want my website to be a proper informative guide to the mass of self-help info out there - not just a load of links, but actually providing real information. My plan to put 100 hours work into the site is coming along nicely: seven hours in, and a workable structure has emerged for arranging it, with a number of main subject areas, each of which then has resources indexed under it. At the moment I've got a framework for four main subject areas (Relax & De-stress; Losing weight; Getting fit… Continue

Day, um... 14 is it? Blimey. Well anyway...

RIGHT! This season I am going to get a proper website going, and my plan is basically to put 100 hours' work in over the next few weeks and at the end of those 100 hours I want it to be pulling in a passive income of at least 100 pounds a week. Naked greed! Or "generating prosperity" as I believe the accepted phrase is around here. Actually, 100 pounds a week isn't that much, but it will make a big difference to me. And I'm planning to do this without putting any more money into the project. All… Continue

End of Day 8

Oooh, I've actually managed to sell something on Amazon! At last! Anyway, the last day of my fast went very much like the first two, although I did get a little dizzy at one point, it wasn't a big deal really. Cleansing crisis? What cleansing crisis? All in all, fasting has been a rather disappointing experience. Still, I have lost a bit of weight, and I suppose that now I've proven to myself that it's not such a big deal after all, I can always fast for a day or two if I feel the need to lose a… Continue

Gah!

Bought an mp3 player off ebay... and it had a worm on it! I think my antivirus software stopped it though, and I've now (1) disabled autorun (hell, you actually have to edit the registry to do that on Windows XP? That's insane!) and (2) formatted the thing, so I think I've got rid of it. I found out how to check for hidden files (I know it was dir -s on real DOS but it's dir /ah on the command shell in XP, for some reason) and it seems to be gone. Something I read suggested that formatting didn'… Continue

I think maybe he's talking about the un-activated parts of our DNA - the ones that allow us to be more enlightened...won't know unless we listen, will we?
And yes, it's possible to change anything, including our fingerprints. The only limit to what we can do is the parameters of our individual thinking system...that's LOA!

Hi Alexander!!
Good to hear from you.Yeah bottling things up is definitely not a constructive thing.I read a book...I don't remember which one ..oh yes it was by Jack canfield. He taught a great technique of countering your negative thoughts and keeping them in check. All we need to do is wear a rubber band on the wrist and every time we have a negative thought just pull it and let go.He says everytime you say ouch you're warning your concious and subconscious mind not to do so again .Gradually to escape the pain we'll begin to let go of this habit.
I personally abide by what Keith Harrell has taught in his book Attitude.According to him we should counter a negative thought and correct ourselves right when we catch ourselves at it.SO if I'm thinking no I can't do this ...I'll correct myself right then and say ofcourse I can.

I realise I'm almost writing an essay here but that's how I am!Once I start writing,I just can't stop till I've said it all!
Journaling..I'll be honest.I don't journal everyday...I've developed the habit of doing it when I'm confused or feeling restless. It helps me to clear my mind and find what's bugging me.

Right now it's 1am and I'm here replying to all the comments! Fell asleep in the evening so can't seem to go to sleep right now!As far as exercise is concerned yes I'm doing it religiously everyday.I prefer yoga.Good to know that you're sticking to a better routine....you must be feeling great !
Hope things continue to look great for you

Blessings and Joy
