I wanted to take the time out and briefly share a little of my story, as to it would be impossible to tell everything. Whew, that would take forever, lol! I was a victim of sexual and physical abuse and I emphasize on was. I decided not live in the victim mentality any longer because it robbed me from healthy relationships with men, healthy friendships and feeling safe to be happy. At one point in my life I was more comfortable with chaos then with stability and love. Through soul searching, feeding my spirit with the word of God, biblical counseling, letting my husband love me the way a woman should be love, demanding respect by my actions and not by verbally requesting it. I am slowing becoming the woman I want to be, I am far away from where I want to be, but I am no where I use to be.

I was told was dumb and could not finish High School, by the grace of God I did. Even when my father refused to help me financially to go to college, by the grace of God I was able to get my Bachelors Degree.

What I want/ My aspirations.

• I want to truly be a woman of God, a faithful woman
• I want to be a good wife, who respects and cherishes her husband
• I want to have a giving and enrich spirit
• I want to be a great parent
• I want to be known as a great and loyal friend
• I want to be able to share my story and inspire young girls that have been through the same things I have been through
• My legacy is important to me, very important. Legacy is more important then riches.


Notice I did not mention anything financially, because I truly believe once you get your head, soul and sprit right, the rest will come. “If you build it, it will come”

I am happy to be part of this group, may God bless every single one of you.

I was frustrated one day, and I asked God to send me someone different from all the other people I've been involved with in the past. I wanted someone who wasn't named Eric, or wasn't latin like all of my ex's; and I said "God, send me someone new!" I just met Stephen, and I can't wait to start a life with him. He's taught me so much about being a human being, not trying to do everything to impress people. I wish I could put the sense of life I have because of him into words.

I visualised there being a pretty boy with brown hair for me to have a short romance with and I felt like I should go into this store I rarely went into, and when I did, oh there he was! And it was perfect! And what a lovely fantastic short romance.

t'anks. When I got to that girl, the words "I'm performing" just spilled out of me. I thought she'd laugh and tell me "no," I certainly did not expect her to immediately jump up and run to the MC onstage.
