What to eat when you go out to eat

I always tell the waiter please tell your chef to trow any combo of veggies he has that are RAW on a plate. No dressing ...Olive oil on the side with some vinegar. Simple and it is always a surprise what they bring out!

Wow - glad i found this group. I'm a vegetarian (though I still eat some fish) but I'm allergic/intolerant to wheat gluten and eggs. Because of this, I've had to get creative in the kitchen to make some of my old favourites.

I made g-f vegan french toast last week. Using gluten free bread, i soaked it in a mixture of soy milk and cinnamon and fried it up like regular french toast. Top with syrup and enjoy!

Super Power Purple Smoothie!
This is a perfect fruit smoothie nw/greens NO crazy additives!

1 cup spinach ( trust me you can not taste it once blended!)
1 banana
1 apple
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries

Add 1-2 cups water depending on desired consistency

Blend and drink up all those anti aging antioxidants!

Hi! Avocados are my favorite! Absolutely wonderful with a dash of sea salt. Today my boyfriend and I made a type of guacamole withh avocados, chopped tomatoes, chopped spinach, onions and some sea salt. AMAZING taste with lots of crunch.

You can also search for Jason Mraz's recipe for Chocomole, where he uses avocados, agave nectar, cacao, etc. to make a chocolate mousse. There's a video where he does an interview on a morning news show and talks about his recipe. It sounds yummy.

Here is my all time favorite vegan snack (its not 100% raw so I can not indulge at the moment but you can!)

Warm up about 6 corn tortilla on a flat plan until they are light brown on each side medium heat
Slice 2 avocados
Put a few avocados slices in a corn tortilla and sprinkle with sea or orso salt
roll and eat.

Trust me it is better than ANY hot dog you could eat. It sounds deceptively simple... But all really good food is!

My favorite Vegan raw salad recipe:

2 apples chapped
2 large or 4 small tomatoes chopped
2 riped avocados chopped
Salt to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
1 handful of organic raisins (optional)

The key to this salad is that you have to stir it is ALOT for over a minute until the avocado breaks down and mixes with the olive oil to form a dressing.

This salad is very filling. It is full of GOOD fat. I usually release weight the day after I eat this salad. PURE love!
