We should all do a collaboration video for youtube called: Why I Am a vegetarian! If your interested let me know. I am pretty good at editing and just got new & better software. Plus it might be fun! Let me know! I can help coordinate it.

Hi Emha, thanks.
I've been on the green drink daily for about a month - and have been off of meat and dairy forever - no (or min.) sugar for about a month - What I did was to go completely raw yesterday - with LOTS and LOTS of veggies - so I guess it had a strong cleansing action, or my system wasn't used to it, but after being up until 2:00 a.m. or so, things calmed down and it's fine today. I found a gluten-free sprouted grain bread I love this morning and that helped re-introduce something at least vaguely familiar. I also discovered quinoa and had that for breakfast, so it's an interesting learning process on what various foods do what.
I also realized that I've been already half on raw with cooking veggies very lightly for several years already.
Thanks for the response.

Hi Cocreative,
cleansing is normal in various degrees. It is recommended to start slow and not make the transition overnight. A good way to start is by adding green smoothies to your normal diet, starting with one and adding up to a quart a day (3-4 portions). Than you can start going vegan, eliminating meat and dairy. In the meantime you can get educated on going raw and start gathering recipes so that you come prepared once you make the transition. I made the transition two months ago. Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions.

Hey - I'm switching over to raw foods and alkaline and feel like there's quite an adjustment going on - can anyone tell me if this is normal? I suppose you could call it a "cleansing" action...I know my system is wondering what the @# is going on here right now.
Some reassurance that this is normal the first few days would be appreciated.
Also, advice !
Thanks,
Cocreative

Happy day, when I found out I could order much of organic stuff, proteins and vitamin --online. Huge cost saving and more variety.

some website, vitacost.com, iherb.com; sometime, there is a 40% discount on these goods.
====================
I found two great yummy protein powders (gluten free and vegan).
Lifetime Life's Basics® Plant Protein Vanilla (22 g proteins, plus plenty essential of amino acids)
A Complete Protein Rich In Omega 3·6·9 (Pea, Hemp, Rice with Chia Seed)
Life's Basics Plant Protein provides a complete range of amino acids (complete protein) by combining pea protein isolates, organic Manitoba Harvest hemp protein powder, concentrated rice protein and chia seed powder.

Biochem Sports 100% Whey Protein Powder Vanilla/Chocolate

If you already shop online for some of your food and nutrition goodies, please do share...

Hello CCOR, life is good and great. I've been enjoying gluten-free vegan living.

Two recent observations and experience:
I feel fabulous with a consistent 20 + gram of protein per each meal. (I observed that when I don't have enough protein, I yawn.)

Also, regarding fats. I found out I wasn't getting enough, thru eating fat filled food. I figured out a trick which so far feels good. I simply take two table spoon of olive oil in the mornings, also sprinkle two table spoon of olive oil over my lunch and dinner meals. In this way I fulfill the 15-20% fat intake nutritional requirement.

My next task/challenge is to increase my fiber intake to meet the nutritional requirements.
Cocreated conscious eating is exciting, manageable and a fabulous exercising of the power of now.

Thank you Christina for the book-tip. I thought this book was only about green drinks, does it also have tips and recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

I bought ' Raw food made easy' last weekend, that is also a good book.

Anyone game to eat ONLY raw food for 40 days...looking for others to join me in the journey?

The best RAW book I have ever read is :

Green for Life (Paperback)
by Victoria Boutenko

Goes into DEPTH about why we all need 75% more greens in our diet. She backs it up with science and gives the best green smoothie recipes out at the end of the book. Plus it is a very easy read but LIFE changing
