I think it can be very helpful for creating peace within oneself. It is a tool but it is also a meditation as at the heart is the process of inquiring into one's own truth.
I find that when I am looking to manifest something, and then I find something doesn't go 'to plan' - then instead of being in stress, The Work can restore a state of peace and then I am free again to focus on what it is I want to create.
