Being grateful is a wonderful way to raise your vibration. Sit down and write 5 things your grateful for....let it come from the heart.

Psychic Shielding is very, very important! I sometimes forget. Silly me with what I do. And I am a firm believer in using crystals and sea salt. And talking to your Guides and asking them to protect us. We only have to ask....

Kristy, in one of your blogs I read that you feel there is a connection between your readings and being sick. That really rings true and may explain my own health problems.

To that end (DANG, I've been trying to use that phrase all day and finally found that right place), how do we better care for ourselves and improve our health? Is it about protection and thus should be in the discussion above, or is it about giving TOO MUCH of ourselves... like martyrs to the cause?

Thoughts anyone?

Blessings to all. After the beautiful full moon a few days ago I was drawn to this website and this group. :) Look forward to chatting more and starting my first season in Jan.

Through my own spiritual path I send both Reiki and Angelic healing energies around the world every day as well every fortnight through the Planet Healing group. Together we are all making a difference especially as mother earth needs the light in this dark time of trouble, war and unrest.

I remember when I first read your "The Lightworkers Challenge" statement. Kristy, it was such a powerful thing to me and I've been thinking about it ever since. That's why I have taken my time to post this comment.

There was a specific day when I made the conscious choice to "use my powers for good instead of evil"... my friends and I laughed, but it was a serious proclamation.

It's many years later now. In reflection, the most common down-side of being a Lightworker is the fact that 'light attracts dark'. While I expend massive amounts of energy to inspire good and affect positive change, there is inevitably a force lurking about in search of stealing the Light. Whether a 'psychic vampire' who is unaware of his energy-sucking nature, or a malevolent person who destroys that is good, the ploy is always the same! Attracted by the Light, they want you to believe you can help them. They want it; they need it; their will is insatiable; and they believe your Light will transfer to them. And of course, it will not.

And so... I think your group here is an important one. Maybe the most important of them all. Oh, that sounds so 'dramatic'... but then, it is dramatic when Light is dowsed by the Dark.
