http://cdbaby.com/cd/mollysonnyboy2Day 9: Today I looked at my yucky old wood floors, the first thing that catches your eye when you walk into the living room. I used my noggin and decided to call the local hardware center to find out who might be able to fix my wood floors: strip/stain etc. them.
I got a name and a number. He's said he will come today at 1pm.
Yay!

I am "so" learning the power of gratitude. I not to long ago wrote about clutter in my life, and the pure misery it was causing me. Until finally I realize that what you focus on increases, therefore…

I released some clutter (I wrote in my Blog about it) and I feel great. It seems like emotional clutter is going away with it too and I feel so much better already. I do think however that all of us…

Clutter isn't just "stuff"

I realized that I'll never have the time to do what I REALLY want to do as long as I read everything in my Inbox. So, NO MORE JOKES for me. I'm getting off the newsletters lists. etc., etc. Then, I'…

I have just joined this group. I have lots of clutter I need to let go of - I'm good at collecting things that I want to get rid of, but some now that desire never turns into action. 100 things in 100 days?!? How much lighter will I be!

Also I recommend throwing out any clothing that does not make you feel beautiful or feminine or just plain good. Declutter that wardrobe. I'm sure we all have some ratty stuff that we might wear when we are cleaning house or something so that we don't ruin our good clothes. But I'm starting to change my outlook about what I wear when I sit around in the house, since that's where I spend most of my time anyway since I WAH.

I'm constantly releasing things from my home. In the spring/summer that's all I did was declutter. I got rid of stuff that was in my home for six years that I hadn't used and was never intending on using and freed up so much space. It's about simplifying your life and personally I feel much better mentally when my apartment is in order. It might have to be dusted or swept lol but it's neat lol

I have begun to declutter my bedroom of the mountains of clothes that have piled up on the floor..Summer clothes put up and non needed clothes put in the trash:) Yay me..Still have a ways to go and it feels great to know that once finished our room will be rearranged for a fresh new decor..

I release a small bag of old clothes thinking someone would wear them. I bless them and hope someone can find good use of them this holiday season at the Goodwill. Plus can make a tax deduction for my mom.

Getting more stuff together during the holidays.
Be Blessed.

Put on a great song, LP ! have fun while you do it. I'm making holiday mix tapes, while I sort things out. De-clutterring, while listening to Aretha Franklin! Yikes, I've become Murphy Brown.

Hi everyone - Looks like you're all making great progress.
I recently donated several bags of clothes and misc. items to the Goodwill drop-off and must now tackle boxes of papers from previous move. It's sorting, page by page, which is very tedious and boring, which is why I keep putting it off. Any tips to persevere?

This is the before shot

I need several skips...but I have finally come to terms with mopping my own floor. Several shelves have been cleared off. My dresser in the bedroom has finally been cat proofed! I'm off on Tues Day 46, so I will vacumn and sort through more of the bedroom. I feel another video coming shortly.

Hi everyone!!,
Just found flylady.net which is a great decluttering website, I have also booked leave for sometime in January and a friend at work can do me a good deal on hiring a skip, so I will have the full week to clear everything out I no longer need. I have already made a start on my small hallway, It's only tiny but it's a start!! Flylady recommends taking 'baby steps'!!! so you don't feel totally swamped!!!

love to everyone!!!

I made a major dent is some of my clutter yesterday. I listed several large items and old shelving and items I no longer used on the freecycle site locally and they were all picked up yesterday. It feels so light and spacious now in the house. Next to sit down and start to sort through my paperwork and put it into order and toss the excess. Feeling lighter by the moment. x
