http://cdbaby.com/cd/mollysonnyboy2Day 9: Today I looked at my yucky old wood floors, the first thing that catches your eye when you walk into the living room. I used my noggin and decided to call the local hardware center to find out who might be able to fix my wood floors: strip/stain etc. them.
I got a name and a number. He's said he will come today at 1pm.
Yay!

Clutter isn't just "stuff"

I realized that I'll never have the time to do what I REALLY want to do as long as I read everything in my Inbox. So, NO MORE JOKES for me. I'm getting off the newsletters lists. etc., etc. Then, I'…

I took quite a few clothes to the Good Will drop-off last Saturday. Seems easy once you get started.

I have a lot more to sort through - am working on files, a clutch of papers at a time.

I'm happy to report that I just took another bag to the Salvation Army. My room is indeed looking cleaner and fresher.

Hello, I'm new! I'm glad this group is here to inspire me in my clutter-free adventure.
I just donated a huge bag of yarn that I haven't used in about 8 years to the Salvation Army. Now I see more space!
I also donated some books that I really doubt I would have read. I might as well take them out and let someone else enjoy them. I, on the other hand, can just borrow them from my local library.

Next step is to organize my papers, and ...(cough...cough) do my taxes.

Done! Car seats are clear again! Forty minutes after posting this intention here (somewhere - don't see it, but I posted it), the stuff from the move is shifted out of there. Looks great! Aaah.

Now for the papers and mail - My intention is to get rid of this excess stuff - and be very organized with everything - belongings, files, closets and all. Most of all to get rid of mail after a couple of weeks or so. To me, the sorting through the papers takes too long and is tedious. Your positive energy to conquer this task is appreciated!
