Mixed Media Monday!

Hi Everyone!

I thought I would start a seperate thread for the Monday Creations. Hopefully it will catch on! My confession is that I might not have time to always do this with my mom here but I'm going to try!

The idea is to try to make something, even something very small, once a week and we'll post it on Mondays. This way maybe it will usher in a creative urge during the week and keep us from getting stagnant. If you don't have anything new then just dig out something old and share that!

I hope to see all of your amazing LOVELY creations!

Hey Carrie......Sounds like your having a ball........that's the idea!!!!! I'm happy that your having fun with your sketching.........just allowing yourself to have your own style is a great way to find your own special gifts........

Ok so this is my mixed media that I did today to aleviate the angst I was feeling over the doll faces. Not sure what I"ll work on for Monday but probably something along the same lines....

Thank you Kaybee. I didn't go to the studio yesterday so I will not learn how to solder until next Fri. but I think I'll pick up some glass and make some of these over the weekend next weekend.
When we cleaned out my mothers house I inherited a huge box of stuff from there..cards and letters and things. Now I knos what I'll be doing with it ;o) What a great way to preserve a memory...

Ok here is my stained glass. No mixed media for tomorrow because I painted out the face of the one I was working on so now I am back to starters. I feel much better about it though. I figured out what was bothering me...her face was facing in the wrong direction according to the tilt of her head. YAY...so now I can put her face where it belongs! I'm sure she is much happier with these arrangments lol.... So here is my finished glass. I'll be packing it up and sending it on to my gf soon... xoxoxox

this is really cool. I just looked at your site. Are all of those tshirts yours design? Very cool!!
Best of luck raising the money. Why such a high amount? How come you can't just take sponsors and whatever your raise you raise? I didn't realize there was a set amount to walk.
